The final level; would it be possible to save a few frames if you jump out from the "bottomless" pit after the boss has appeared?

Do not discourage submitters like this. Pointing out improvements is fine, directly insulting them in this way is absolutely not.
Sorry.

As far as I've tried, there is no faster way to fight the boss here.

You're welcome. There are potential time savers everywhere now and I don't want to participate.

I guess it's my turn to fail now. I discovered something that needs further investigation. Keep it delayed.

After some heavy testing, I can tell that at least 9 15 more levels can be improved. I'll keep searching for more.

It's probably too late but: Round 43, faster solution: LRRRRLRRRRRRRUUUUUUULLLLLLLLRRRLLLLRLRRRRR I'm sorry I didn't find this earlier, my own TAS projects are keeping me rather busy. Also, I wasn't expecting to find anything.

Meh vote. Would this save some time? Round 91, 50:49 in video, kill that bottom level creature first, then stand still below that boulder, switch characters and go kill the other creature.

I appreciate the response, but I was actually referring to full window mode (maximum window mode) not full screen mode.
Sorry, I misunderstood.

The timer seems to stop running the moment a player picks up or drops a radish. This can be seen here, pay attention to values 995 and 993. If the rightmost digit is manipulated to be low enough when the last dynamite is collected, it could save time in theory. It does save some time but not significantly.

Two more shorter solutions. Round 79 can be completed in 22 steps, the solution is 28 frames slower than the solution seen in the movie: L L L R L L L R R R R L R L L R R R R R R R Round 97 can be completed in 24 steps, the solution is 24 frames slower than the solution seen in the movie: R R L R L L R R R R L L L R R R R L L L L L R R I don't know if faster solutions exist anymore, the game is pushed to its limits.

3-8 can be completed in 130 steps. Push this block up two times, go down and then continue from here.
