I thought the episode was pretty good but I don't want to write up a lengthy post now.

Okay, thank you. Please do tell me though, how can I edit the drop shadow and the thickness of the stroke?

What are you trying to do?
A while ago I used the TASvideos script in order to avoid the memory leak and to get the correct colors. The script I used is here: http://pastebin.com/X1E6wEjy But most of the time when I'm making modifications to that script or trying to extract something from it, I don't know what I'm doing. I was trying to extract "function ng_bighalo" but when I did that, virtualdub would tell me "there's no function called mt_circle" or something. And now you cave me another function but I don't know how I'm supposed to call it. I would appreciate it if you give me an example how I can call the function (or an example script that I can load in vdub without editing).

I have seen that the TASvideos encoding script can make stroked text. I can't figure out how to extract that portion of code to make use of it though. It asks what mt_circle means and I don't know if that's even what I want. Does someone know and be so kind and post the code here for use?

Lua drawings don't go into video capture. How am I supposed to publish these subs then? They're not in normal subtitles format ether, are they?
In text display options you can make it "in game" I think? I know that you can record Lua output into an AVI. Anyway, just here to say this is a sick job of a TAS. Well done

And today is the second time I shed tears over an episode (the first one being Ep 54). And now, year-long break :/

I'm pretty sure I saw a video about an extra heart piece in Jaboo's belly and it was titled as the 39th heart piece. I think only the normal 36 ones should be gotten because it isn't a 101% run, it's a 100% run.

Why don't you just use the ZSR ruleset...

jlun2, I see you post a lot of things that are really uncalled for. I hate to break it to you, but you are among the reasons why I'm not submitting. I want to get a J cart so I can see what a console run would be like. I cannot judge what it is like before I do that.

Jump on the barrel, jump off the barrel. While you jump off, change your action command to hammer and break the barrel just as you land on the ground. It only works on one frame. I don't really know how the glitches work in detail, but that's why I put rough notes 2 pages or so earlier. I'm sorry there isn't a better write up or a guide, I need to figure out most of the stuff myself still, when I run the game glitched. Still have to get a JP cart..

No.
Just to ask you why?
For reasons listed here, here, here and here. To summarize, the issue with the tons of encodes for each submission, the site changes (the vault tier), people bitching about site rules and exceptions thereof, weekly drama.

Just use VBA24m. Earlier versions of VBA have major emulation problems in this game.

Seems fixed in that interim build. It was present in 2.1.2. I don't know if it happens in 2.2.0. I didn't test thoroughly.

Mitorequiem wants to learn this game too (glitchless though). Do you livestream? The skips only work on the Japanese version, as noted on one of the previous pages. I will do a glitch run when I can get a Japanese cart.

As a heads up, it seems the credit glitch in Kirby's Adventure is another one of those "unreliable glitches". That means, if you savestate in the middle of the glitch and load, the outcome will change. Or the outcome will change if you play the movie back from the beginning, for no apparent reason.

If you have upload your movie we can compare, but we haven't.
My video is here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWGOrmBRie0 I basicly downloaded this and your video and compared side by side. I think my 1-1 starts one frame later but we get even again (I can't remember if that's how it was), so that's what makes it suspicious... I don't know. EDIT: I think this is it. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1422698010/Super%20Mario%20Bros%20gbc.vbm I think I used VBA21.

There might be a few places where you have lost 1 frame compated to my video. I can't compare directly because I don't have access to my VBM at the moment. More info maybe later Suspicious places: 1-1 room 1 4-1 score scrolling 8-1 8-2 piranha pipe jump 8-3 score scrolling
