I uploaded a frame-advance version of the swimming sound. I see the problem you have, and I don't know which frame to align with the beat so I just took the first frame. Since there are many exits there is probably something entertaining for everybody, and I'm glad to see so many people like this run :)

Just FYI this run clears 96 exits, it uses the Yoshi Wing exit 20 times. 3 times of the 20 times it was intended by the level designer. And then 9 times (+2 if you count the intended Yoshi Wing exits) of the 17 times, the level was played again for the secret exit. But I accept if there are people that rather watch Mario fly over/under the whole level than watch some crazy block duplication action... I personally prefer duplication xD

With all respect, the music timing is really not perfect, mostly because you ignored the large delay when performing the "swiming" sound.
No I didn't! I pressed it several frames before to match up the sound with the upcoming beat. This is possible with frame advance and sound enabled. I think the reason you think it's not perfect is because the swimming sound starts with a deep tone and if you watch the video with low volume it sounds not right.

The only criticism I can give is whenever Mario tries to sync actions with the music, as the timing seemed to be just the slightest bit off... but that's barely much of a matter, if even at all!
And I can say without a doubt that if you watch the movie on the emulator, the music timing is frame perfect! (I have to know this since I did both water levels with music syncing)

YES vote! I love how you manage to avoid the best cards of the opponent, also they couldn't even do a single fusion^^. Awesome luck manipulation, the cards you get after you win are rare. Even though this movie is long, I was entertained all the time...

The good thing is, that my submission is not going to be rejected because of the "records on Cyberscore" because there is still a chance that times could be faked. There is no video proof of any of the times. To RNG manipulation: I found out that the address for the RNG is 030001F8 (4 byte) and the next RNG is calculated like this: newRNG=RNG*0x41C64E6D+0x00003039 So in the worst case you would have to wait 4294967295 RNG changes to get the best time on one stage. So if the RNG would change 6 times per frame, it would take about 138 days to get the best time...

Yep, that movie is faster in exactly one room. I'm going to cancel this, fix that, and then submit again.
A lot more than just one.
You can't count all the RNG based things, because this movie doesn't aim for the fastest times, but for the fastest credits!

You can't go through stairs, unless you have a feather and you fly (which increases your speed enough to go through).

Voting NO. This movie is very unoptimized for SMW standards even in the GBA version. You said you didn't use any glitch which was used in the current SNES SMW any% movie, BUT you used hopping glitch in the first level (YI2) and you didn't in the other levels. I also think a glitchless run is pointless in the GBA version of this game and just shows laziness, because it has a lot less glitches compared to the SNES version.

Question: What does this game have, what neither SMW nor SDW have?

Link to video .smv Made with Snes9x That video uses the 4 extra buttons of the SNES controller. A regular controller has 12 buttons but with 16 bits there is place for 4 extra bits, which is currently only possible in Snes9x... I think this would be possible on a console once a custom controller is created...

ok, thanks to Bond697's description and this site I created a lua script which shows my/enemy's IVs, EVs, Stats and everything else on this site. I have only one problem, the start address is not the same every time. I found that the start address (which is the PID) of wild pokemon is at 0x0224795C, which is also the address for the rival battle. But for regular trainer fights it seems to be at 0x0224C2AC... Maybe my next task will be creating a lua script to decrypt the RNG, for battles or IV manipulation...

That wouldn't be entertaining at all because it would take very long to go where it is glitched. Also, what would be the goal? "fastest glitched graphics"? I think that wouldn't make any sense at all...
