Personally, I find this more interesting than both walkathons and "small mario" runs.

I didn't realize this myself, but now everything it is clear to me. We have been cheating ourselves through all these years. Things will never be the same again, but this was just inevitable. ;)

I watched the published AVI, and this is my thoughts: * REALLY deserves publishing - congratulations * Each game individually - not that bad * Planning must have been insane for these games * Following through the games is quite confusing but the worst part is the sound * My rating of this movies technical quality is based upon the criteria of all movies together, not each one individually, hope that is as it was intended. Conclusion: Please do not produce any more movies like this. I really like this one as a concept demo, but if more movies like this would follow, it will just make me tired. Well done and good luck in producing more individual runs.

Sounds great so far (I don't want to see it just yet, since I want to seet it when complete, as an avi). This is one speed run that I've been longing for quite a while, and i just want to encourage you to finish it. Great job.

Now I know what I'm doing the weekend after this is processed and released as an avi. I've been seeing forward for this a long time.

Wow... great movie... has this game by any chance been released for Amiga too? I remember playing a game very similar to this about 15 years ago or so...

If the TAS was made of mostly teleportation, it wouldn't be very interesting now would it?
I don't know. The Megaman 1 movie consists mostly of zipping and glitching all over the place, and that movie is very interesting...
I suppose that is an very personal opinion... mine is that Megaman 1 with glitching, Zelda: aLttP (glitchy version), and Zelda 2 (glitchy version) is a lot less entertaining than the "original" versions...

I can see that there is ratings (voting results) on the games page... where can I vote?
As always, be sure to check the http://tasvideos.org/FAQ.html first.
Ah! Of course you're right... sorry about that. Edit: But it does not seem to work for me to login there... I got this following one time:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function LoadTable() in /home/WWW/wikisites/nesvideos-site/inc/dbfun.php on line 48
After that I only get the login page again without being allowed to go to the voting page... I know that I wrote the right password and username, because if i enter wrong ones, I get an error message. Edit 2: Nevermind... just seemed to be something temporary... seems to work now.

I haven't watched this yet; I want to see really good games as avi-movies... but I'm really longing for this to be processed. Hurry up and encode this now. :)

Personally, I'd vote for more runs with individual characters and such. But this run, unfortunately lacks use of some techniques found in the currently quickest run. Fix these things and you have my yes-vote. As for now, I don't know how to vote... It IS quicker than the previous run of this genre, it should replace the old one, but can be done quicker with recent techniques. This results in a "Meh" for me.

I actually think there should be an entirely glitch-free version of this game available too. I don't care much about this one, but I'm sure it will be accepted and obsolete the old one (which also had way too many glitches to be interesting for me). I'll refrain from voting.

I agree with this game being best suited for a speedrun, but still I think this run was well done and worthy of publication. Yes vote.

One of my all-time favorites for SNES... extremely nicely done. I'll vote YES of course. Ordinarily I don't watch runs until they are available as avi, but this time I made an exception. :) (It must have been really annoying on the third boss with the last energy point...)

Also, crashing into eachother makes players loose coins. Edit: Or does that not apply when both players are boosted?

I've waited to watch this until it comes as an avi (like it more that way), but I realised it probably won't be accepted without more votes. So I watched it and liked it. Voting YES!

why wasn't this been published yet? :)
You know the timeplan: Mario, Megaman, Metroid: 1-2 day(s) Other runs < 10 minutes: 3-7 days Other well known-games than Mario...: 8-21 days Other games that's not that well known, but accepted by the community without that much support from the admins/moderators: 31-365 days This game goes under the "8-21 days"-criteria (a bit of irony included) :P

I just started to watch what I thought was your test-run, but discovered you have linked your current wip to the same file... Would you mind putting the testrun up as well?

Have anyone started working on a run for this game yet? It is one of my favourites, so i'd really like to see someone getting it done. It deserves a speedrun.

Ok ok, 8 stars, all of joly roger bay done, i don't ever wanna see this level again! http://www.angelfire.com/ex/uobt/mario64-foda-120starstaswip-v18.zip It's 1:15 minutes faster than the testrun, and it's 992 frames faster than my previous "final" wip... Next stop: princess secret slide.
It looks very good so far. Jolly Roger Bay is the course i like the least of all courses in this game, still you make it look like it's not that boring.
