Ok, I would like (with the help of a French forum) make a TAS of all the events (solo). Basically finish timed event as fast as possible, and have fun in the other events. The problem I have right now is luck manipulation. I can manipulate the AI, the objects and stuff during a match, but I'm having hard time to manipulate the behavior of the ennemies at the beginning of the match, the first thing they do. I found that the behavior changed if you skipped the caution screen at a different frame... And that's about it. It also changes when you go in the event menu, come back to the main menu, and go to the event menu again... But that's really slow. If anybody has an idea about how to manipulate this luck... :) EDIT : For instance, here is a manipulation of the event 1 : Link to video While the WR... : Link to video I need to manipulate the ennemies so they don't move and stay close.

Be sure that no wiimote is emulated and that you follow these settings Besides, file creation isn't stable, I experimented it twice... It's better leaving some blank frames around just to be sure, sometimes it can be laggy.

Kinda obvious, but... That thing doesn't sound good (for TASing the actual game starting from the SRAM that is)...
Yes I know, I think it's because I was savestating at full speed (creating some lag in Dolphin), it may work with frame advance. I will figure something out :p Thanks for the answers too :)

Hmmm... Is it alright if the verification movie is 5h45 long ? :p (And now I have to check if it's synching... As far as I tried before, the movie was desynching everytime I used a savestate, so I made this one without any savestate :/ )

Hi ! I just would like to know : If I want to make a run of a game's mode that requires to do some stuff (completing the game for exemple), what do I need ? A memory card with the save of the game completed, a verification movie file which would create such a save and the run file ? Or do I juste need a run file and a save state ?

Yes sorry, the only ones I can think about are just normal gameplay, they don't show they're from a TAS. I like the one you suggest though.

Can we at least make a soundless encode then ? And (sorry for my poor English), what do you mean by letting this submission alone ?

Well, I actually have to restart this run since I found a way to improve my 1-1... So I was thinking about taking the latest version of Dolphin (3.5-367) since the emulation became more accurate. I would like to know if it was ok for the encoders or if they would have to do all the work again - in which case I would stick with the previous version of Dolphin.
