There is a timing error. The encode says 11:05.82 when it should say 18:29.26

Finally done watching this epic masterpiece. Allow me to vote Yes, with a side of Yes, divided by Yes. Amazing amazing work. Its really entertaining especially with the subtitles. However it was strange only seeing them in the simulation parts of the game. I know theyre not the most exciting part of the run, but it just felt kinda out of place seeing the subtitles in the sims and having nothing in the acts. I dont want to even bother trying to get all those recommended screenshots. The movie is just too long for that. >_<

The fact that Mario got used here suprised me enough. I never thought that he would be useful anywhere! Really great stuff here. I also loved the new insane glitches used. So heres a strong Yes! The suggested screenshot should be of 3-1 when toad is below the "elevator".

Time for an update I guess! A generalized update Weve been stuck on the gear jump for weeks. This was our last progress before that point.

Umm...You know, there is a difference between a game over screen and a continue screen. If it was truly a game over, then the run would be at the first stage.

That depends if there are any improvements in the first place. >_<

I discssed this with nitsuja a while back and thought I should show you guys all something. Apparently, There is supossed to be a Save Type option above 3D Settings. However it doesnt appear to be there for me. This screenshot was taken with the latest release of desmume. Am I missing something here?

So, Since Sonic 2 will take a while to completion, I wanted to do something to get my mind off of it. Stuff? This is just a quick bit I made. I think it may be faster than the current publication but I havent checked.

Wow, This was way more entertaining than I thought. I guess it kinda helps that the game is way higher quality than most puzzle games. But there was also a ton of action that kept me on the edge of my seat till the end. Super Yes Vote. Great Job Ryuto!

I just saw this today, and I am very impressed that this is now possible. Not only does it show that tool-assisted speedruns dont use cheats, but it might also help improve overall emulation of systems. Im now looking foward to seeing other games being run by this type of bot. Maybe even different consoles all together!

Hey jlun2, how is progress? I just wanted to ask since I think I found a fairly big improvement. STUFF By pressing start, you will avoid the fadeout that happens when talking to Moe (The Clam). This saves 32 frames. Im not sure if its optimal though so be careful!

I think that this is the only game in the series where death actually saves time. So this might be an issue with the movie itself not for the other games.

You guys should submit this now. There has been so much effort to optimize evrrything that I think the only improvements in the near future will be just a couple of frames. You guys have truly outdone yourselves!

I cant TAS this for the time being. My computer basically erased my graphics driver by doing an update, so I cant really TAS anything at all, let alone a DS game.

Hah, That was absolutely hillarious. Voting Yes, for the anticlimatic ending.

Why take the whole rail and jump into the trick rings at the beginning? On the map, it seems like it'd be much faster to Jump straight from the first curve on that rail (and in my experience, trick rings are never worth it) to the top path. From the Top path, jump on the top of the loop.
I actually tried doing that, but I wont have enough speed when I land. That is untill I found out I needed to have boost power while in the air. So that might change. About the 29 second record, Unless there is video proof, I am not going to believe that for a second.
