If English isn't your first language, you can write it in your language and hopefully someone can translate it for you.

Just as a note Game Genies aren't allowed and if it was it's slower than this. I suggest uploading these kinds of movies to the userfiles instead of making it a submission.

Only that it does show the credits (and final cutscene) for a total of around 3 seconds. The ending is found, so what's the issue?

The way it ends is fine imho, and is a better for an Encoder/Publisher since it doesn't need to show the credits, since the credits are an endless loop. And if anyone wants to verify the 101% claim then they can check it themselves, we know at least that it is 101%-- meanwhile the indication on a different Crash 2 is a second cutscene then a game reboot, bye save. The video doesn't need extra run time and the input doesn't need anymore padding.

You know, I was looking forward to an improvement of Family Feud, with some good jokes, nothing that would get outdated, all round good time… let’s get into it. Immediately out of the gate we’re given a reprisal joke "Oops I pressed it" (Speed Limit) vs "SHIT I pressed it" (Shirts). Now, in terms of usage the original feels stronger cause it's in the Double Round and you're not expecting it. What makes it funnier (to me) on the original is that you can't spot Speed Limit, compared to Shirts. Now with the prompt “Name something men have their initials on” the only thing I found funny, which worked was "Edible Birth Certificate". Everything else fell flat as immediately after the answers "Breast Thief Cassette” and "Chicken Ruffling Kids" were used and that didn’t work with the prompt. Compared to the original TAS’s Round 2 which has the prompt "Name a sign no one seems to obey" immediately opens with "No yodeling allowed" (YIELD) and so on working with the prompt, and playing off of the prompt. With the first round is that this is just writing witty answers to trick the thing rather than playing with the prompts. I’m not going to break down any further as the next rounds have the same issues as highlighted in the sentence above. The goal says "now with less N-words" is very counterproductive with other offensive answers that you have provided in its place instead. These answers were also just all round bad, disrespectful, outdated basically immediately: "Is this your sex pin" "Really Communist England" "This show sucks" "British wankers" There’re also crude comments such as: "Stupid Titty Case" "Sharp Razorblade Dildoes" "Penis holding cilinder" (which has a typo) There’s also this answer here which honestly is just going for the trick rather than playing for it: "Valentine can go right D" There was also this chain that was just to basically pad it out. "No" "Y Tho" " " " " All and all I only lightly laughed once through this entire thing, it’s a forward No Vote.

So... Avoids Game End Glitch because game doesn't recognize it as a completion. Uses the method for Game End Glitch, but doesn't act on it the actual ending part of it. Somehow through "voodoo magic" is able to be controlled just enough that Oxide is actually Crash and OH MY GOD THE LORE THICKENS! CRASH ACTUALLY WANTS TO COVER THE GLOBE TO BE HIS CONCRETE PARKING LOT. I have no idea what the hell happened. Downtime kills full enjoyment, but the payoff was still enough for me to give it a Yes vote.

Having the advanced screening of this TAS a day before hand, heh. My vote is a straight up yes. It's more grounded in comparison to Crash 3 (and there's no annoying relics) it's mostly platforming focus, and avoids zipzagging all over the joint is an additional plus. More strategic choices, and definitely some insane variants to some levels that you would see in RTA like Cold Hard Crash where runners death abuse to avoid a segment where the TAS doesn't, it grabs the gem in a stupid maneuver and returns to the start of the Death Route to avoid abusing. This TAS has a lot going for it, and it's just insane to see. This is probably also Star material for a PlayStation game, but I shouldn't get ahead of myself.

It's pretty hilarious when you think about it. Look at how pretty, symmetrical, smooth and juicy those curves are.
Damn, the curve is thicker there than it is over here-- flat, but getting a curve that slows the spread is damn important to get that flatness. It was flat for a good 60 days over here of just having zero local cases after we saw our worst on the 4th August with 687 cases in one day. Those 100 days to just to eventually get to 60 days of just zero (31st Oct - 30th Dec). Worth and now even more with more attention, quick action and being more prepared at getting a lockdown. Thanks Premier, it sucked we were the guinea pigs. This also makes us more cautious cause of our half-assed Prime Minister taking their lazy time to get those damn vaccines that Premiers and ex-Prime Ministers are doing the job that he should be doing, cause he doesn't hold a needle he already got his, and believes it isn't a race.

kept the old input for levels 5-8. I only did this because I figured that it was already good enough (in my own mind).
But you've grinded down level 1 and 2 twice after submission confident you've reached the limit on one of them, redone level 3 twice (to which the best version is 2 revisions ago), hit level 4 five times, improved 5-7 at least once, what I can only assume is redone Level 8 three times from scratch, level 9 four times (yes I'm including the one that stalls out before the boss) and level 10 twice after. "I don't get it" is what I'm saying if you're trying to understand what I mean. Like yes, you're 12 revisions deep into Stone Protectors this year and committed to the part, but the dedication seen in one level isn't seen in the rest with a statement like that. Also seeing the words "copied from spikes comparison video" doesn't sit well for me when it's from your own file which you can still grab from here (I'm linking to the Spiked input cause I numerically numbed them on my userfiles). And can still have that small micro improvement that you missed out on: (Focusing on starting input, not the Boss input)

I counted the total frames of improvement in the comparison tables, and it comes out to an even 450, so theoretically you should be able to optimize the WIP further by 300+ frames. Take note of where and why you're losing frames and see if it's avoidable, and avoid those timelosses if they are indeed avoidable. Something I do when I look into improving runs is I have a separate emulator window open with that run in it, allowing me to directly compare what I'm doing with what was done before.[/quote]

You'll save more than 242 frames if you take it slowly.

Not really... also that doesn't answer the question DrD2k9 asked, your response is under hypotheticals, and I honestly dislike hypotheticals especially when we can easily check. In our favourite level, Level 1 I was able to regain the 2 frames I lost and saved an additional 87 before reaching the first boss. This is from just having a second player, who's actually the first player that just exists and walks around. Here's the userfile, doing almost all of Level 1 except the first boss, due to not really wanting to figure out what kind of boss I got. This was a question I asked last year, and the year before with not much of an answer or any conclusive evidence for that matter. So for the fact that this wasn't researched still by the author is kinda annoying honestly. Edit: However, the bosses have more health. Something that I personally wished was explained the last two times that we honestly never got the answer to. On the side, still curious to see a response about this since it re-highlights important things.

From an optimization standpoint, it makes zero sense that you have two instances where you lost time in Level 1 to a previous version of the TAS. It's the first stage of the game; there's frankly no excuse to lose time to a version you've already made unless you can prove that the time lost in that situation results in an even greater time save later on in the game.
Actually fun fact about 2021's v1 and v2 on Level 1. v1 goes into the menus and disables SFX, v2 (and onwards) avoids the menus and just starts the game (which is obviously faster, cause you're not going into a menu to turn off SFX). Technickle thought they improved on the v1 but under TAStime by "21 frames". But, it was not by a level by level comparison so they didn't know that they lost 128 frames in the first level. This mistake would actually continue throughout the entire creation of each revision after that, where a comparison by TAStime was done, not by Level Time. Just to show that setting: Highlighted in the Greenish-Yellow and is marked OFF to be a bit more visible if those colours clash for you.

3 Things. 1. Getting an Encode. 2. It's going against this movie which deliberately opts into using a second player for entertainment purposes making this comparison a bit more time consuming to do (I'll get a table done). 3. Light Spike in a bit.
Found the author's encode: Link to video Here's a table comparison. Good first attempt. Now you have a goal to beat. And here's a Light Spike of 3322 frames of blankish input. You started the game late, and I couldn't really fix that due to causing desync issues.
