Then it means that your system is old... or a laptop. (If it's a modern laptop try Balanced/Power Saver to High Performance)

Well good news. You're 100% wrong. :^) You can TAS 3DS (Citra) thanks to libTAS the Linux TASing emulator. (That's if we're talking strictly the TASing features.)

Much like the other systems bundled in BizHawk the -/+ keys operate the speed. + is to increase the speed. - is to reduce the speed.

Ah yes, thank you for being descriptive to which core this occurs in. And thank you so much for not making an issue tracker about this and actually detailing it and again, stating which core this occurs in. Thanks for the contribution by not providing information.

Link to video Link to video Welcome to Manipulation. Where there's not a pause buff in sight. The one that completes Stage 5 is roughly 20 seconds behind the current TAS (that's including bios) however it's a stark difference to how much further behind it could've been. The one that completes Stage 8 is roughly 7 seconds ahead of the current TAS (that's including bios)

Then why were you're able to create a submission (albeit a single level) with BizHawk? bk2 files can bring down a tasproj file from a gigabyte (or more) to kilobytes when using the convert function so you saying "it's too big" raises some questions. To me it sounds as if you don't want to actually showcase your work at all. You can always provide an upload to Google Storage or Mega for someone to convert it down for you proper if you actually are concern for what should be a small filesize to begin with when using that function.

I'm assuming you're using TAStudio. You can shrink the filesize by converting to bk2. File > Export to bk2.

Spoilers: It'll be rejected for not completing the game or not reaching the loop point with your goal in mind. Please read over why you were rejected in the first place on your first submission and use the User Movies instead of making a submission.

It's to do with COPA.
Actually to date the TOCA TAS when it lost its comments it was before COPA got involved. It was early 2019 when the TOCA TAS (and a few others got hit^). COPA was introduced late 2019. To be specific on which SotN movie being referenced it's this reencode and Sorcerer's Maze copped it as well. It took roughly I think 15-30 minutes for the comments to be restored. ^ Don't ask me for others when TOCA was the standout to me (for obvious reasons)

It's been set to that since the introduction of COPA. You can actually confirm this by checking the YouTube Kids site/app. It's just that YouTube is a great system with no flaws whatsoever. sarcasm

This is a bit of a bump but this has been in the back of my mind for a bit recently. How come we went to this movie and pinned it for incorrect bios usage but we didn't the same to something to a movie submitted in January that same year? (A JPN bios should've been used) There was also one from the year before from that same author which used the wrong bios. Not to dig this author out as I do love their work they do but they're the example I know. Now I haven't compiled the list for PSXjin. But honestly I should've done that when I was doing my reencodes to see what else is unturned. There's a total of 3 pcsx-rr movies^ and so far in my double check there's 2 for PSXjin and the first example used was relatively close to it. This is the first movie that bios was called out cause no one got it to sync on the correct bios, but when the incorrect bios is used no one would notice it cause it's their default. To point one more. There was a movie published under GBA that accidentally used a debug bios a year later making this Resident Evil movie sandwiched between two incorrect bioses. ^ For the quick rundown of the PCSX-RR movies: error1's Strider 2 - SCPH7502 (Should be a US bios not a PAL) Mukki's Umihara Kawase Shun - SCPH1001 (Should be a JPN bios not US) mz's Salary Man Champ: Tatakau Salary Man - SCPH1001 (Should be a JPN bios not US)

No DobieStation isn't. It's still practically a beta. When you look at PlayStation 2 as a whole the emulator can only do a handful of games properly and the rest either - Crash the Emulator - Loads into a void with the character - Plays FMVs at 5fps (or less)

Why pick the C64 one?
Each version of Tapper is different enough from one another that each version can have their own TAS. Similar to Donkey Kong where we had 5 different versions submitted last year and all being accepted and published. Versions that are currently TASable: - Arcade - Atari 2600 - Commodore 64 - ZX Spectrum - ColecoVision - Apple ][ - MSX - DOS

It would be nice to have the full lineup of the original Atari systems. All that's missing is 5200. Apparently Altirra or Atari800 are the best cases and both of them feature the Atari 8-bit (400, 800, XL, XE & XEGS).

tl;dr: Why do official PSX encodes retain the horizontal overscan pillarboxes?
I don't remember the details but we basically ended up comparing to real hardware and how real hardware captured PlayStation videos with it. The result for real hardware while recording with no modification done to it had the bars. And using a CRT TV and a copy of Crash 2 as the comparison lead to the decision about not cropping out the bars.

[4101] GBA DK: King of Swing by g0goTBC in 17:34.47 the "Genre: Puzzle" tag was put, while I definitely think that it'd be more appropriate to have the "Genre: Platform" instead. The weird part: while both any% TASes got the Puzzle tag, the Diddy mode TAS got the Platform tag instead.
The game is classified as a puzzle (then followed by either action or platformer). The Diddy publication is wrong and that has been adjusted. It is a weird statement to write when the DS sequel Jungle Climber is considered as an Action Platofrmer.

Sorry. Dumb question. But isn't Dolphin methods of TASing almost similar to Mupen? Unless you're requesting for more precise control like Hawk.

EXCLUDING JAPAN, AMERICA AND CANADA. IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED A SINGLE GHIBLI FILM, OR YOU'VE ONLY SEEN A HANDFUL. NETFLIX WILL BE STREAMING THEM. Link to video You will notice I have marked those rated M in Australia with red. It's the equivalent to America's PG-13. These aren't recommendations, I usually do that with a bold on them. Allegedly Netflix Europe actually already has this, I can't confirm this as I'm Netflix ANZ (AusNZ) and we don't have it. This list also comes from NetflixANZ which confirms that it's everywhere except again, Japan, US and Canada.
