All Night Nippon isn't a texture hack. It's officially licensed for Fuji Television. >.> Besides that fact. If it was a texture hack it would be able to sync fine on Mario/Mario 2. It modifies some levels to where a previous TAS can't actually be used in splicing. Fun Fact: You can splice previous TASes and pull off a greater time. Previous Submissions that were rejected: #4394: kusoman's NES All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. in 04:59.62 - Incomplete #5755: Nobodycallsmetubby's NES All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. "warps" in 05:26.71 Anyways. This TAS fails to pull off glitches as the author has mentioned such as flag pole glitch. The goal for all Mario Games is to go as fast as possible with all that's available first then worry about other miscellaneous stuff later. All Night lands into the land of it has to be "warpless" in order to be accepted. (A judge can correct me on that, but that's what I remember the last two times this game was submitted) I'm not providing an encode and I'm abstaining from voting.

Hi Welcome to TASVideos. Where you're meant to TAS and be better than the currently published movie that you're referring to. This movie fails to beat the existing record that HappyLee created. Please upload your files here: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/my#uploadfile

Requesting Author Commentary translation that appears on both videos. Very well done in execution, and that frame war that went down on nico. Entertaining as all hell. Yes Vote.

Instead of going through the points people have mentioned you decided to justify yourself with several other games. So let's look at them.
PikachuMan wrote:
Other games with multiple endings: - Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (2 endings)
Based on who you finished the game with. Game is broken to hell and back so it's possible but not interesting to warrant a separation (especially when it's a Vault game here). Next.
PikachuMan wrote:
- Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (3 endings)
Based on days. And in TASes and speedruns. Speed is Key. Poor Justification. Next.
PikachuMan wrote:
- Kid Kool (5 endings)

PikachuMan wrote:
- Chrono Trigger (too many to count)
14 isn't "too many" (15 if DS). Star Ocean says hi by the way, but to ignore the RPG element (as well as Fighting and Visual Novels)... Resident Evil: Outbreak says hi. You're also trying to justify this with an RPG game. And to stack on that to do an all endings TAS you have to run the DS version. Give a better justification when you go for a large game. The justifying this branch with these games that you listed were just terrible.

Use 2 controllers. You could play this with a PS4 controller with all functions mapped to the appropriate buttons.
What does this have to do with an SNES controller? What in the line of TASing does this actually mean?

That doesn't fix the issue of incorrect information being published on the site in the meantime. Plus, sometimes the issue affect movies that are already obsoleted.
See, I'm failing to see an issue with the first point... Especially when the largest joke was given as an example which wasn't commented on by you. As for the latter. Not really it doesn't. Unless you want to talk about incorrect obsoletion like how Pokemon Yellow obsoletes Green and not Red/Blue (or anything Saturn made).

I was skeptical at first thinking it was a my end thing back when the Top Gear 2 TASes came out but once I hit the VBoy I have to question it. Dunno how, or why... and I actually don't know what to write on the actual bug report but here it is, whatever the hell this is to VBoy and Double Res to SNES: Hawk 2.2.2 Dumping (Correct). Normal SNES Hawk 2.3 Dumping (Incorrect). From frame 0 Start recording a bit in and it's double res'd. SNES ---- At least screenshots are fine. :\

It's one or the other. Not both unless you can provide an actual explanation in the almost 5 and a half minutes on where you avoid damage abuse. Run syncs. It's boring. RTA is close to this so this just more Super Human. Would rather a more full run. No Vote. Encode for those that can't sync: Link to video

This will be related to PlayStation accuracy in emulation. So it'll be fine. Here's the table for comparison:

Could someone help me check why this (on BizHawk) slower my current run (on psxjin)?
Cause BizHawk is accurate to a PS1 whereas PSXjin isn't. Like I wrote on the Discord, the best way to compare previous and current is to RAM Search for the values (I might look for it later) where you can compare stage by stage if it works for this game, which it should. Also the game has a dedicated IGT so you can just create a table from that.

Why do you even come to a thread about a shit sport? 5000 posts on these forums and 5 million messages on Discord and other crap... We don't need to hear your opinions on everything, especially if it's about something you don't care about.
Take a breather. Read who I was writing to. Read into the fact that the person is ranting. Read into the fact that I mentioned watch the women's soccer if you're going to be shitting up a storm cause they hate. You got that down now? Good. Now. Explain the point you were attempting to make when you were not using your head like you should've been and instead just ranted cause you decided to skim read. That was a poor personal attack.

Watch Women's Soccer then cause there's the sportsmanship. Also get stuffed. There was sportsmanship in all this in their games. During Australia v France the ball was kicked out for the other team to give the ball back to the other possession. If you want to talk about anti: The player that "didn't know" he was being sub'd off comes to mind. And the other player who was taking the scenic route before being carried off by Ronaldo grabbed him and got him off the field faster. And both Neymar and Mbappé's existence. Hey look, time killing. Don't globalize the term "anti-sportsmanship" cause the team you didn't want to win won. Or Don't watch a shit sport to begin with.

See the issue you have is you're straight up stating to force someone. I brought up that it took 12 years to obsolete a TAS that shouldn't have existed in the first place. Wait or do it yourself. It's the key.

Simple solution. Obsolete it. They stay for Historical purposes just improve on it and be done with it. Oh while I'm here. Do you remember the story of The Combatribes? Did that ever get Unpublished during a time where Vault didn't exist? No. It later got improved on 12 years later. Look, History. Oh no, single level TAS that still exist. Improve on it by doing the game that invalidates the single level and obsoletes it. cough MSX & SG1000 Galaga would also fall into the land of being invalid TASes but no one is bothering in improving either of those. cough

Uh... here's a question. Why didn't you just hit reset or continue on from the previous input instead of making several submissions and branching it as "all cases"?

Sorry. Late. Forgot I wanted to check this and then it got accepted (basically feos reminded me). This game has manipulation via Pause Buff: And at points it can actually be faster than avoiding the buff. My opinion character choice (from what I've checked so far) is pointless. You might as well just choose the character they set at the start (Kyoji) and power through with him. Also again I apologize for being late... You can skip all this with Y: You can probably skip all the cutscenes with Y as well. I didn't go that far into checking. Here's my input: 48466622789621603 My input is definitely not optimal entering the game itself. I just didn't want to check that wanted to focus on the fighting. As for just fighting. N?K is slower in first fight by 26 frames. There's more to dive deep into this game and figure out, this is a good starting point but I don't think that something like this should be accepted. I apologize for not bringing any of this up sooner. Edit: Oh and downing yourself and your opponent at the same time works too and may be fast if executed in that round depending on if it's possible to do (I can't recall seeing something like that in your TAS).

Actually, to extend on that. For the case of Ocarina of Time there's 3 versions that are the same. N64, GameCube (Master Quest) and WiiVC. In what way would obsoleting work and does the site consider that there's enough of a difference between GameCube and N64/WiiVC to warrant it to be a standalone?
