I always thought Time-Attack meant tool-assisted... and Speed-Run meant no tools... Like in the "Speed run competitions" threads..

even so, i bet the top 50 players would play better than me tool assisted playing it, so you'd better get an excellent starcraft player to help out
Hhehe...I am excellent :P. And this is the first time i seen this thread :\.. Anyway.. Seeing a Z V 7P would be ah.. boring if you drone the nexus's.. I would love to see a Zerg player using Plague and Ensnare along with Hydra's/Guards to own the Protoss. And see alot of Lurk drops/Ling rushes etc.. Something to show Alot of different strats to totally demolish a Protoss player, and show every zerg unit's powers put to the max. Another cool Movie would be a 1v1v1 on BGH (So minerals dont run out) One be Zerg, One be Terran, One be Protoss. Them have them all attack each other showing strats to own the opponent and also how to stop such an attack. But the Terran would have to win, Since the best player in the world uses terran. Here are some cool strats i use when ever i play. Zerg: 1. Quick gas, then some creeps. Make a pool, upgrade to sunks. get a lair, queens nest, more gas. Hive/Quards = GG. 2. Mass out Defilers and Uped Hydra's / Lurks. 3. Queens/Ultralisk/Scurges. Terran: 1. Marines/Medic with Vessel. 2. Tank/Goliath drops with front defence (or CC defence if done correct) 3. Vulture mines all around, then cloak wraiths. Protoss: Quick Zeals, Moving to Goons/Stormers/DT's. 2. Cannons-Arbitors-Recall drops. 3. Cannons-Carriers-Arbitor If the replays worked correctly for UMS maps... I would love to see a :NORMANDY INVASION: time attack done.

Ok.. I shall try... I have no VBM uploader so.. the best i can do is just inform the Frame Count.

Maybe if you jumped out right, then turned left for 1 frame to shoot the item, then right again to just barely land on it by like.. 1 pixel (to make it fancy) then bounce jump over to the ledge. Try that out.

I really think a thread should be made on this instead of discussing this in the submissions thread. Ok.. I am going to try to do expert mode. and here is my plan. 1. Skip Intro's to levels ASAP. 2. when ever possible, fall down off a platform to a lower one for speed. 3. Go one pixel away from falling off the edge for entertainment. 4. Move quickly as possible. 5. Use Baby. 6. Take no warps. 7. Use Hardest Difficulty I cant think of anything else. start commenting here now instead of the submission.

First when i discovered this site, (before i joined the forum) i thought tool assisted was just emulators (No rerecords/slowdowns) and i was like.. freaked out as much as that guy was. Thats why when i came to the forum,.. my movie was based on skill.

From what i can remember about Morimoto's and Finalfighter's movie, In the quickman stage, they switch to airman's move to kill the fireguys before falling down correct? you can kill them by just shooting.. so.. maybe that could save 2 frames or more of opening and closing the start menu. Thats a guess.. i could be wrong. try it out though.

Yes.. and i do have the yellow devil fight down pat.. BUT.. I need to find a way to make the megaman clone always jump Backwards when i shoot.. because i seem to die there often. and the other place i die is usually in the 4th stage going against gutsman.. because i lose a tremendus amount of life going against fireman/bombman, the gutsman will sometimes just start to jump towards me and kill me.

Uninteresting? Ofcoarse if you fastforwarded basiaclly 80% of the game! the hardest part for us was to make those levels entertaining. You should have watched the full game before even voting. You didn't find the double hitting in the first/second stages entertaining, or in the boss?

Iceman = Impossible in a speedrun. If someone did do a buster timeattack.. that would be the only thing to intertest me. Other then that.. Like others said.. this is a entertaining site.. I leanred that the hard way.. If they were to make a new catigory for movies, i think it should be like.. a speedrun spot.. or a no glitch spot. but.. too much work... so scrap that. Rockman 1 is faster with no glitch in some spots though. :)
