It seems you've already made up your mind but VI and IX are my favorite games of the series. XII is a departure from them but I still found it highly enjoyable. Personally, it ranks just below VI and IX. Balthier (the real protagonist of the game, not Vaan) is really charming. Witty, funny, and he really makes the game his own. I think if you're anything like me, you'll love XII. I've been waiting for an HD remaster of XII ever since before they announced a HD remaster for X. I'm looking forward to it. For now, I'm enjoying XV. It's a big, bold and beautiful game, but the sidequests are too many and meaningless; I'm level 50 and I just defeated Jormungand (in the Crestholm Channels) and the recommended level of the next story mission is 10... I've also scaled the volcano but there was no boss at the apex, probably because it's still too early in the game. Edit: Oh, and I hated X and XIII but on subsequent playthroughs you sorta learn to love 'em in their own way.

Good work on this game. Any plans to obsolete the non-sketch glitch version?

Spent the night out watching the match from a sports bar. So god-damned exciting. My heart sank with Higuain put the ball in the back of the German net, but the subsequent offside call was cheered for as if Germany had scored. Friggin' amazing match. Argentina fought a good fight. Commiserations to them. DEUTSCHLAND!!! DEUTSCHLAND!!! DEUTSCHLAND!!!

I'm betting on a German victory. Germany's record in World Cups is as follows: - 3 times champions - 4 times runners-up - 4 times third place A win here will align the stars and the world will unite in peace and posperity for all. Furthermore, their demolishment of Brazil in the semi-finals, along with Klose becoming the all-time World Cup goalscorer, you can't help but feel they've got everything going for them. Except for the fact that they are playing in South America, and all previous World Cups held in South America have been won by South Americans. However, there's a first for everything, right? Anyone wanna bet against me? If Argentina wins you get to be featured in my sig for the next four years. Who knows if TASVideos will even be around by then. We hope so.

I am having a hard time containing my joy. Brasil's defense has been abysmal. The goals haven't even been exceptional. Congrats to Klose scoring his record 16th.

2002 Final rematch. I'll be rooting for the same team as I did 12 years ago.

I knew Columbia seceded from the Union but I didn't know they had a soccer team participating in the World Cup.

Although I'll cheer for Germany the whole way, their performance in this tournament so far as not convinced me. I worry for their quarter-final encounter with France. In other news:

Mexico became too defensive after taking the lead. There was still 40 minutes left and they just sat back and let the Dutch come at them with everything. The game was bound to equalize sooner or later. Interesting fact: nine of the twelve Dutch goals have come in the second half. Although I can't say for sure, it looked like Robben went down too easily. I gotta see the replay a few more times to be sure. Suspenseful finish though.

Chile indeed deserved something out of that game. Brazil were unconvincing and were lucky to advance; their MotM was the crossbar/goalpost. Brazil vs. Colombia will be an interesting match, and hopefully Brazil does something about their defense.

A bit late but yay Germany is through. They face Algeria in the round of sixteen, and France or Nigeria in the quarter-finals. I expect them to make it at least to the semi-finals this time. Go Germany! Meanwhile:

Argentina vs. Iran: Iran defended so well throughout the entire match and created some amazing chances. It's a shame they came away with nothing. Nonetheless, Messi's goal was superb and Argentina totally deserved the win. Germany vs. Ghana: Germany gon' Germ. Let's go! Edit: Dang! That match was so close. Germany was weak against the Ghanaian counterattack. Not their best game. Glad Klose came on and equalized (the game and also Ronaldo's record).

Lol'ing hard that Japan could not capitalize against a Greece (of all teams) with ten players. Totally not surprised at all. 70% possession and not a single goal. Absolute rubbish team. They remind me of England: a lot of talk but nothing to show.

Japan disappointing as usual. Cheered for them in 2006, 2010, and now in 2014. Let down every time.

I'm creating one since one doesn't exist. Spain vs. The Netherlands: no one expected that result. Spain got WRECKED. If only the Dutch played like this four years ago, I wouldn't have been stuck with this sig for that time. I would like to add that the Brazilian crowd is amazing. I love the cheer they do at every goal kick and it's good to hear the ole-ole chant again. A huge improvement from those ridiculous vuvuzelas four years ago.
