There is an in-game completion counter. To reach 100% you have to:
  1. Complete the game to unlock mission free-select (this involves then starting the game again and loading your save data to continue completing missions)
  2. Complete every mission
  3. Defeat every Raven/AC in the missions that they appear in (this includes Valkyrie and both Nineballs)
  4. Collect every hidden part
Completing the game and then doing all the post-completion stuff in one go sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Also just like in Super Metroid, avoiding glitches that greatly damage entertainment makes it even better as a part of community-preferred full completion rules. Using those glitches in 100% would be vaultable, but no one would honestly enjoy such a run, while avoiding them boosts the feel of completeness. Anchored "100%" is extremely iffy, since skipping previous content makes it "not really all that full of a completion". "H+/100%", anchored or not, makes if feel overpowered, unfair, and unimpressive, because it artificially makes the game greatly reduce its difficulty. Vanilla "no abort/any%" may be unnecessary if we have vanilla "no abort/100%". Anchored "H+" feels like it needs some well established goal that makes the overpowered mode justified, along the lines of "max kills". Playing OP for the sake of itself is like enabling a GT code in Super Metroid just to make it easier. It's arguably worth a try to make a run of one game using another game's save data, as long as it's officially endorsed, but playing several games in one go, without the game explicitly asking for it, is incredibly questionable. http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#RomImageMustBeIntegral

Masterjun is partially back in the form of his true self, Mothrayas. There's obviously not enough destruction going on these days, so he's gonna introduce some. Let's see if you guys can handle it.

Starting from a fresh save is always the preferred option, because it guarantees your movie will be published as Fastest Completion. Then, if you want to build something on top of that, making it a new, save-anchored movie is okay, as long as it features stuff that is 1) unique, not available in any%, 2) interesting and sensible as a goal, and 3) entertaining on its own. Then if it meets Moons requirements, it can be published. Regarding 300%, is there some official indication that saves should be used across all 3 games?

How is 100% completion defined for that game?

In newgame+, how do I check those elves that give subtanks? In Pause menu I only see Biraid and Clokkle.

Am I correct in how I verify 100% requirements: - all ex-skills are available in newgame+ - all disks unlock ultimate mode - 2 subtanks are available in newgame+, and 2 can be obtained from elves that were collected Also suggested screenshot

This request is confusing me. Are you sure this issue is related to my case? I don't remember having this problem nor fixing it. It wasn't mentioned in LibTAS/Undertale installation guide that was made by Luke for UT Community 10 days ago either, and there are people that started to do TASes by following this guide.
It's related to libTAS dependencies versions, and it's fixed in master IIRC. Some distros may have those deps the way libTAS expects them, some don't. Also, you don't need to disable "Prevent writing to disk" to sync the run. If that is disabled, after the run was replayed once, one has to go to /home/<you>/.config/UNDERTALE and delete the files, otherwise the game launches to black screen. PS: your movie doesn't tell anything about the distro it was synced on.

Please add all the necessary installation instructions and steps to movie annotations. http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#UseMovieAnnotationsToProvideInstallationInstructions To make this game work I needed to install some stuff (Steam not installed):
Language: shell

sudo apt-get install libopenal1:i386 libssl1.0.0:i386 libglu1-mesa:i386
Also this seems to be needed for video dumping: Post #490172

Sounds like source of randomness that the game uses for its stuff isn't known or isn't captured properly by libTAS? I don't think it's meant to cluelessly allow games to access everything in the host, but I don't know how sandboxed it is currently. You should talk to Keylie.

That would leave us with 2 similar accounts for the same person, which is not allowed. Request a merge, with whatever name you prefer.

But do have an option of creating those 10 verification movies to be run every day? We don't allow game modifications unless they explicitly add unique gameplay (as opposed to unlocking something that's already there): http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#NonOfficialGamesHacksHomebrewsEtcAndPrototypes Regarding save anchored runs, they need to be different enough from what is achieved with a fresh game, and also entertaining enough to be published in Moons as another branch. For "fresh any%", however, there's no such restriction.

Thanks to Vynneve for bearing with me, the culprit was the SRAM file. When I first ran this movie, it synced just fine, so the SRAM file wasn't specifically crafted, but after I deleted it and it was created from scratch, the run stopped syncing. So not sure what dirty magic Dolphin is doing there, but here's the file that syncs (should go in User\GC): https://files.tasvideos.org/common/SubmissionFiles/6550S/SRAM.7z

They don't change the fact that it's a 2-hour movie. By any% I meant that it would be shorter, therefore easier to swallow in its entirety.

It's a nice movie, but I'd like to know how many people find it outstanding. I can recognize quality of the game itself, execution of the movie, damage boosts and playarounds, but what about others?

To spawn objects you need to go through certain points in the level. It's written in game code which camera position spawns which objects, and it's consecutive, you can't skip those portions. If you skip them they stop spawning. The warp is spawned along with all the other objects of that area. Object spawns don't depend on checkpoint activation. Still nothing?

Are you 100% sure you don't feel like actually trying both and maybe accidentally finding a new glitch like I did?
