scratch point # 2. Well, I can't do anything else to make this avi because remember point 1. I don't have admin privileges.

I attempted to encode one, but it didn't work out. 1. My computer has restricted privileges on my side, so I can't install any software. 2. I don't have the time to do this right now. 3. I followed the instructions correctly, but the video looked like the size was 80 by 70. It was that horrible. Just didn't work out.

I still have questions. How would I create this logo? How do I change the avi bitrates in either FCEUX or Virtualdub?

Well I just wasn't sure how to set the bitrate in FCEUX 2.02. Or would you need to do that in Virtualdub?

I have read the making avi help pages. Does the avi really need the logo? And in FCEUX 2.02, how would you set the avi bitrate? Or would you need to do it in Virtualdub?

I know how to encode videos.
Encoders Encoders are the people who do the hard work of creating the best-quality AVI files from the submissions that have been marked as "accepted" by one of the judges. Encoders have no special privileges on this site, but they are greatly helpful, because without them nothing would ever end up on the front page. Encoders are usually not appointed, they just do it if they want to. You do not need to ask permission to start encoding. However, you must read the Encoder Guidelines. All AVI files encoded for publication will be reviewed by a long-time publisher (usually a superjudge), and rejected if they don't meet the requirements.

Where should I go to submit encoded videos of new accepted submissions? These would be in AVI format.

I don't put it at the uncompressed state. I put it at Microsoft Video 1 at 100% visual quality.

So I should just forget this whole idea all together? What I am trying to do is to avoid downloading the avi's via bittorrent. Will they still pass as a "official" tasvideo if I encode it and it doesn't have the site notifications on it? Also, why is the avi I encode so huge when the avi via bittorrent is small. Ex. My avi of Little Sampson is 580 Mbs. The avi via bittorrent is about 22 Mbs. How did they get the file size so small?

Ok, so my plan is to encode successful avi's and upload them to archive.org How would I get the site notification on the video, or should I just say in the description?

I have encoded an avi for Little Sampson for the NES, but it is 580 Mbs and 13 minutes long. Did it work?

hi. I got this idea that popped into my head and I wonder if it's possible. Take the video file, not the avi torrent. Encode it into an avi, and then start seeding that file with the respective torrent. This way, the people who can't do this can get the file. Please tell me if this won't work. I'll try it.

But to connect uTorrent to a port for forwarding. Does that require anything? I have looked at PFConfig, but I can't buy it. It forwards the port to uTorrent.

There are some people out there who requested a high quality download. I will get the urls to them. I have publicized it. I have it on Mininova.org. I don't have a firewall set up, and uTorrent said something about port forwarding. I am probably not going to try that because if I screw up, my parents would kill me.(almost literally.) I will keep trying, but I think a rapidshare or mediafire upload would work better.

Well, it isn't exactly a tasvideo torrent I want to seed. It's a torrent file I created. It said to start seeding the file so others can download it.

Hey. I am currently downloading a file I already have. And it says 0.00bs upload speed. Is it seeding, or what?
