Wow a lot better now, stages are fast paced, nice web trick to get a speed boost, also on spidey 2nd stage the wind was well used, not touching any column, I'M Just not sure about the first boss battle, the range was a bit mid-like, you can shot 4 shot if I'm right, but to shot others the shot must hit or go off screen, so maybe getting face to face to the boss might help?

After watching this one again, I'd say that while there was every attempt to make it entertaining, it wasn't entertaining enough. It doesn't help that a lot of the moves look the same. I'm leaning towards rejection. Maybe 2-player mode is better?
Hmm, maybe 2 player isn't good because I would be manipulating both, it should not show how Bowe is defeated being the CP... maybe if I re-do it? I'm pretty sure I can reduce the game time and rounds making it look less repetitive after a further look in the game.

Hmm I forgot to mention but I think the bomber Woof fight maybe could be improved ? he got a small vulnerability period before the bomb explodes, maybe changing some strategye led you to destroy him in the moment it invulnerability wears off? also I noticed you had to do this to be able to pick some power-ups, so maybe it could be faster that way because of the other stages.

I look forward to this! this one is a great game to do, great chance to get accepted, also there is a TAS of this on youtube, the author did it in 26:29 using 1 player, you MUST defeat this time or if there lower you must beat all times already know, so I suggest you to use 2 players to get a better result than them. here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suEeI5vJd0U

I would like to see more TASes where the player has total disadvantage like this, however this TAS didn't amaze me because I never played this game so I can't imagine how hard would this be in real-time. According to your comments, it's impossible, so I vote a yes even if it wasn't that entertaining for me.
Hmm its not impossible but barely impossible to get this perfect with such character in real gameplay, also I mentioned it on the description, you have to know all his behavior(which are very random) also use each punch precisely for him not counter attacking you.

The funny thing is that I actually found improvements for my Falcon run a few months after it had been accepted and as for the Tornado, there are a few things I've seen in your WIPs that I want to try and test to see if they'd work for a console run. So pretty much I'm going to end up redoing both again someday. I also still plan on doing single-segment runs of the game at some point, but I haven't had time lately and I know those are going to take a lot of attempts and time.
Well, it may really take some time, also how about a single-segment using hardest mode?

SDA just posted a segmented run for both Falcon http://speeddemosarchive.com/MetalCombat.html#Falconnormal Tornado http://speeddemosarchive.com/MetalCombat.html#Tornadonormal pretty awesome. It makes me excited for this TAS
Wow, pretty nice, ZakkyDraggy did it ? man thats freaking awesome, it will help expand the game, Wonderful work Zakky, also I will try get back to work once I finish a project with a friend. I'm still at Anubis, I'm trying to dismember only 1 part to make it vulnerable enough to kill with a lv7 charged shot plus 2 bombs while I dismember him! if this dont work then probably will use your strategy on his since its the faster I saw until now.

Nice! I started a run of this awhile ago as well, didn't really reach that far. There are some improvements in the first level to be made. You can for example fall down to the secret exit from the top platform, instead of landing on the platform above the exit. The extra health could have been picked up faster as well. It's pretty important to plan a route for the damage throughout the run, as a lot of time can be saved by taking damage. So a testrun should definetely be made to begin with, if you haven't already. Looking forward to this!
Yeah the jump from the top plataform was possible, thanks for that Tompa. About the extra health, I had to make a full jump to not make the barrel just ahead to respawn, it should be worse to jump over it. In the entire run it will be possible to only take 3 damage if I'm right, since we are playing on the hardest dificult, plus we cant backtrack for collect health unless it saves more time than foregoe! Thanks for the advice!

Guys it was my first post! cant you at least vote a few yes? you know i will make a new one if this dosent get allowed, i will actually glitch more with more bugs. and i will do that anyways but not till the desision is final.
Hmm you know, if you want "Yes!" votes then you should make serious works(it sure was serious but comparing to the actual one), since this game is really the most perfect tased here... I should recommend like the others said, read guildlines, rules and make researchs about the run, also discuss with the others at the forum, surely we all will be glad to help, its always good to see more people tasing ... Good luck!

Still trying to find the perfect game for my first TAS. This seems a bit more promising than Power Punch II, which has turned out to be incredibly boring (As DarkKobold predicted), so assuming that I don't continue that, I'm going to try to make a WIP for this game. A lot of people say it's a terrible game, but it surely is nice sounding / looking, and the best possible player would look impressive, so I think this deserves a TAS. Anyone know this game and have some ideas / suggestions?
Who said this game is boring is totally wrong, the game itself is nice, got freaking nice music is VERY HARD, in somes stages like on Wolveryne stage 2 its requires a very precise timed claw to kill Juggernaut... on both Gambit stages you must go quickly as possible yet being precise on the moviments and on the card spent... I say this one deservers to be TASed since its a great title(for me) plus for its dificult... I will give a look at the game and see what I can find!

Often times racing games make boring TASes but not in this case. Obvious a lot of effort went into keeping the car at top speed without crashing
Oh yah! I avoided bump because of the emulator reproducing endless sound of car bumping ... in the cases its show its because a npc car hit at each other or a car hit at a thing at the 5TH race!

I did watch the WIP... now some thigns I noticed and MUST ask... A thing that is annoyning me on the Gym stage, isn't there some way to make a bit more precise jump on the arrows ? it goes a bit upper than necessary to land, I know that arrow makes you jump higher. at around frame 6770 you landed on a plataform to make another jump, just asking but can you die from high heights? if not then is there some way to avoid it to making a small jump earlier to skip that plataform? Frame 997X you landed on that floor, wasnot better jumping a bit longer to fall directly down? 11149 you cant go down because of ladder doesnt let you move down right?? 13600 wasn't possible to land at the first degree of the ladder ? 17555 isn't possible go to left to not need to land once again on the right plataform ? 19375, just asking but why did you not fall straight down instead of taking this plataform? 20491, maybe a bit less off jump or does it automatically jump like that on the begining of the stage?? Also at my POV it doesnt have any sloopy part, most moves were needed and not sloopy, seem its pretty fine to me, also the frames I cited above, I'm not very aware of the game engine but its just annoy me, dont think about it as a troll/criticism, but rather a noob question with maybe something useful(I hope so). Sure want to see this work ended, you doing very great man. GO FOR IT!

Hmm this game seem to have good moveset for TAS but... seem a bit boring but if you can make the levels in a fast paced way being accurate too should be nice, find something impresive like abusing some move input to make him run even faster, it shuld be excelente.
