Thanks, I didn't notice press R can speed up, too. Now I think my peach run can be saved 3 frames(1-3, 3-1, 4-2. One stage one frame). But I don't want to improve it, only if find the big improvement. I have finished the 1-3. I used Toad and improved 256 frames in 1-2! http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/40327110/0050%20-%20Super%20Mario%20Advance%20%28UE%29.vbm And I made a comparison to compare with Peach, Toad and Luigi. http://www.mediafire.com/watch/2152qqa7d7edrj5/SMA_4screen_comparison.mp4 got4n found a new trick in 1-2, but only Luigi can use this trick more quickly. You can see the bottom screen of Luigi's test. In the top screen of Luigi, I fail to touch the 256 frames rule line, only 20 frames slowly. And it slower than the new trick run. So I can say Toad is the best character for 1-1 and 1-2. I used U version to test, and found U version has the less lag than J version in title screen. Comparing with the YoungJ1997lol's wip, it's seemed VBA-rr-24m has the less lag than 23 version for this game. When I tasing the peach run, I didn't eat the more fruit in 1-3 and 4-2. Because when the starman appears, it made some lag. Though starman is useless for peach, maybe it's useful for mario, and I will change emulator, too.

Maybe for what? Use mario in 1-3 or get starman? I don't mind the co-auth, but I want to find the big improvement first. Before find it, I may not begin to tas this warps run.

I'm thinking of the any% warps run. But too bad, I didn't find any big improvement like 256 frames rule. In 1-2, I used Toad to test, but still need about 30 frames to touch the 256 frames rule line. If I complete the any% warps, maybe it's too similar to the "peach only". This is my plan: (any% warps) 1-1 peach. As same as "peach only" (if I can find the 256 frames improvement in 1-2, I will use toad to complete 1-1.) 1-2 toad. The more quicker battle boss. 1-3 toad. Toad can get magic bottle fastest. 3-1 mario. Choosing mario is fastest. 4-2 mario. The same reason like 3-1. 5-3 luigi. 7-1 luigi. I don't think Luigi is much better than peach, because Luigi's jumping and falling speed is lowest. 7-2 mario. At last, all of characters all get 1 point. (peach 1-1, toad 1-2, luigi 7-1, mario 7-2.) I have tried to watch this 1-3 run, I think maybe mario is the best character for this stage. You can use double jump on vine, or is that possible to get starman to kill boss?

Thanks, I just know how the frame rules work. In GBA version, address is 0x03001943. And I found a new improvement. In 6-1(frames 16030, movie time 4分28秒), you can choose the second line(save and continue), then use emulator's reset. It can be saved 76 frames.

In fact, I'm a little disappointed your new submission. As JXQ said and my wip show, the technical quality still not high enough. The run of nes version has the high quality, but this run is not. I found another some improved ideas. In the first screen of 4-2, jump on the ground is higher than jump on "power". In second screen, try to stand on the top bee which fly to right, you can see that bee at frames 14380(or movie time 4分01秒). When climbing in 7-1(frames 19440, movie time 5分26秒), you should go to left screen to right first, and then go to right to left. I think you need spend more time to increase the entertainment, too. If you are still willing to improve it, let feos deley this submission.

I don't know the nes version glitch can be used to gba version or not, but I never succeed to use glitch. So I stop at getting the bomb. I found this game is a little hard to splice. The same axis value and the same input, but the result is desync.

I vote yes. Though this run could not be accepted for Vault, I hope you and Masterjun can improve it. Delete "Peach only" and use the best characters, becaue Vault doesn't allow suboptimal characters. #3853: Marx's NES Mighty Final Fight "Guy" in 11:41.34 [2229] GBA Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World "warps" by Masterjun in 10:07.98 has been accepted for Vault. I worried this submission would be rejected, too, if there is no change.

I'm not sure, but the screen scroll at the same time. Too bad, super-change can't be used for shooting down or throwing bombs down. But F got the very large lag, or you can use the less F.

I forget to tell you that you should destory the 2 helicopters as fast as you can, and don't need to kill any soldiers. I just kill them for fun. Maybe you can give up H to reduce 1 prisoner. Use bombs to replace H. At this the picture show, you can save 4 bombs, and just use S. Don't worry about lose any frames.

Please change the published label Heavy glitch abuse to Heavy luck manipulation. Though this game has too much glitch, I don't think it's enough for using Heavy glitch abuse. And this game's luck manipulation is like the hell. Most of glitch base on luck manipulation. I guess this is a little mistake since x2poet's tas be published.

I cost about 230 frames to get S. If you give up S, you need use 22 more grenades. I'm sure the grenades is not enough, or you can get Ir, too. So you have to use 6 more F to beat boss. This boss fight has the very large lag frames, 1 frames with 3 or 4 lag frames. In fact, 0.9.8 is "faster" than 0.9.7, though the 0.9.8 show the more lags. You can compare with time2 (address 020F4B20) which .wch file show. I'm not sure when in boss4 fight, 0.9.8 has too much lags, too. You can test it first. Sorry I forget using F once would cost how many frames.

Very well run. You can still improve boss3 battle, left 5 Z to the end. When boss3body's HP is less than 3000, boss's head would appear, you can take the double damage, e.g. you can use Z to take 500 damage. Or maybe you no need use F to hit body. feos, have you encoded this? Please don't use VBA-rr v23.6 svn480. I found the lua script don't work good for it, lua script is 1 frame slower than the movie play. V23.5 svn421 worked fine.
