As you might have noticed if you're the curious sort, I've been compiling a list of interesting rejected/cancelled runs. Stuff that's "not quite up to standards" but still unique and entertaining (at least to me). I've called it Gruefood Delight. I haven't been able to watch every reject, especially some of the older ones, so I'm asking for your help now: what's your favorite Gruefood?

The only gruefood I've liked enough to keep on my hard drive is the CCC-less Mario 64 run.

Zelda Outlands was my fav, but I also liked Gyromite :P.
See Youtube page (GIRfanaticTAS) for all runs and stuff.

I really enjoyed CAD's Rocket Ranger. I'm still not sure why it got can canceled.

The Firemen I wish it saved all the burning people though. Note: It wasn't even rejected! I vote cardboard redoes it saving everyone and then doesn't cancel it! Yep!

I was going to say the in-game time Super Metroid runs, but they're no longer in Gruefood. Fancy that! Instead, I'll agree with mmbossman.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

Wario Ware, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Road Fighter Actually, the Road Fighter movie sucks... But its ending had me laughing for a while. It was the first time I saw something so incredibly stupid like that.
You're just fucking stupid, everyone hates you, sorry to tell you the truth. no one likes you, you're someone pretentious and TASes only to be on speed game, but don't have any hope, you won't get there.

Proof Bisqwit is racist towards middle class white americans! [/shameless self plug] Just kidding, I love you Bisqwit *big ol' hug* In all honesty, I can't remember my favorite. Maybe that is because I don't remember half of anything, aside from the important stuff like the theme for Starlight Zone in Sonic 1. And many episodes of Batman the Animated Series. And the whole script to Jurassic Park.

Great! Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I'll be updating the list soon to include the movies y'all mentioned that aren't already on there, and perhaps put in some sections so it's not in as much disarrary. Feel free to suggest more too ;)

AngerFist Kung Fu Kid (because I find constant bunny jumping funny). CCC-less Mario 64 I did have Bisqwit's PC Star Control II but I deleted it :P.

I added in the new suggestions and broke it up into sections. "Poor Game Choice" is by far the largest :)

Did you check the discussion threads for those submissions? Some of them have suggested screenshots you might want to use (eg. Jekyll&Hyde has one).

I think these two should be added: Super C 1 player: http://tasvideos.org/1660S.html and Ninja Gaiden 2: http://tasvideos.org/1654S.html Both are extremely well optimized (at least as good as the 2 player movie), and very entertaining game choices. I think they are the two highest quality (both entertainment & tech) runs to be rejected.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

If I can self-promote for a bit, I think my rejected Run Saber run was pretty good.

Cool, thanks for pointing out that screenshot Warp. I checked some of the forums but missed that one. It's in now though. adelikat, thanks for those suggestions again, I added them to the list. Solon: I'm all about self-promotion, but isn't an improved version still on the workbench? Surely you don't want to jynx yourself ;) Also, thanks comicalflop for pointing out that the Mario Kart 64 run was Special Cup not Star Cup... Fact checking is always a good thing :)

Well, if we're into self promotion, I think Cheetahmen 2 was pretty swell. ;P

I just wanted to thank you so much for compiling these. So incredibly useful. I probably have a dozen suggestions I could contribute, but I'm too lazy right now to go back and find them all. Many times I see a submission, assume it will get published and think "oh I'll just wait for the avi," but then it never comes and I forget about it completely. Your Movie Suggestions page is really good too. I would honestly take the cream of the crop out of Gruefood and Movie Suggestions over the starred movies. (Of course, that's sort of unfair, since there's a lot more gruefood.) Hmm, did Bisqwit get rid of the starred movies? I can't seem to find the list to compare them.

Yeah, a while ago. Can't remember why or when, but he did :P

Glad you liked it Enhasa. I would be very pleased to have more suggestions, so if you're ever in the mood to do some unearthing for us feel free :) I did play around with the layout recently, adding tabs to shorten the overall length of the page, but I haven't added any new movies recently unfortunately. I believe the stars were turned off because Bisqwit felt that the list was perhaps out of date and inaccurate, which is a reasonable assessment in my opinion. Since the lists by system are so long, I would like to see "Suggestions for Newcomers" return in some form, as well as perhaps other pages of suggestions, like "Movies for Not-so-newcomers" or "Glitchy" (this has been said before and I'll probably say it again...)

There's no Genesis game included, there is a lot of decent "gruefood" material there.

YES! I'm glad someone else is with me on this obvious fact. And yes, let me know what Genesis rejects are worth looking at and I'll add them to the list... I've had a bias since I'm not terribly familiar with the library of games and Gens seems to be finicky with me, but I'd be happy to correct that :P
