A 101% game time of around 39:40 (shown as 0:39, because seconds are not displayed by the game, but they are kept track of).
- Uses in-game warp barrels, plus a few minor and one major warping glitches.
- Completes all levels and enters all bonuses.
- Takes damage and loses bonus games to save time.
Strategy acknowledgements:
  • Snapdragon - Enguarde's location in Poison Pond and Coral
Capers. Final autobarrel in Barrel Cannon Canyon. Slipslide Ride bonus order.
  • Deviance - Barrel Cannon Canyon end-section, Snow Barrel
Blast and Ice Age Alley start-sections. "Rope jumping" and " tunnel warping"!!
  • Michael Fried - much of Coral Capers and Reptile Rumble
(DKCCC strategies). Trick Track Trek and Tree Top Town warps.
  • Bas "Iron Knuckle" van de Ven - Vulture Culture and
Millstone Mayhem warps. Barrel Cannon Canyon midsection. Manic Mincers end-section.
... the rest is my own.

The movie is worth watching because it's almost perfect, shows the optimal strategies, and shows all the known warps.
PS. The NTSC version is about a minute faster overall than the PAL cartridge, according to our experiments. In PAL you can execute a few extra shortcuts because Diddy jumps a bit further, but it's not enough to redeem it.

Bisqwit: Processing this as well. Both of these movies look excellent.
Bisqwit: Done. Took some time because libavcodec didn't like cmp=6 setting this time and I had to do many encodings to find a working solution.

I think the vote-option no should be banned for this movie :P. It's a very entertaining and perfect played DKC movie, enjoy it! Btw. it was aimed for the fastest possible in-game time. Even after reaching :39 .

I'm using it (by default, i don't know what means though), if i don't use the run doesn't seem to work at all. :( I think it's a ROM / emulator version problem, cause the run is fine till midpast of the game... maybe some lag problem... does this problem occur like in VBA?

It's probably because you have Left+Right enabled, and this run was made without it.

Please make a google video of this. I cannot figure out how to play AVI files, even after following instructions.

short answer : read the faq (link at top of the page). long answer : desintall any codec you have. install the latest ffdshow binaries. install media player classic. this movie isn't even recent, I don't see why you would have problems with it. are you able to watch any .avi at all ?
