Lamborghini - American Challenge is a racing game that you need to pay a fee in order to enter a race, however I abuse a glitch that make the game give me (millions)dollars instead, also to be able to pay the fee to enter the required races to beat the game, plus enable to buy the needed equipment to make it in the fastest way possible.

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: Snes9x 1.51 v7 svn147
  • Heavy Glitch Abuse.
  • Genre: Racing

Comments

In this version I improves in 7525 frames(above 2 minutes), due to a skip in the 2nd race.

2ND Race

You can get out from a race by pressing start then select, but it count as a failure, in this stage I need a radar to catch me at high speed to make my money balance negative, luckily the first radar is positioned in a down-ramp, so I can get a slight higher speed making them catch me at the needed speed,in the moment the radar catches me I skip the race but I'm not free from the fine, I tried make my cool face, but no use, I had to pay the fine anyway, but it leads me to reach the glitch faster also skipping 75% of the race reducing the boringness on the run.

Shop

This time I buy every item, since the needed one is in the last page, also without any frame cost because the screen need to get highlight before exiting to the menu, but there is no advantage on the last pieces I bought, its just cosmetic

Other Improvements applied.

Also slight frame-savers come from better finishing brakes, allowing me to stop in the needed moment I cross the line, while using a nitro if you force-break you will be always at 55MPH, so I make it the most accurate possible.

DarkKobold: 'tis claimed.

DarkKobold: Awesome improvement, gets rid of what most people complained about in the old movie. Plus, the switch to the Diablo was awesome. Easy acceptance.
Here is a non-optimized screenshot for whoever pubs.

Brandon: Publication underway.

I recommend that we do whatever we did the last time we got a submission for this game.

Cool! Only 1 boring race - new car, and even speedier results. Also, I'd like to know how long each race is suppose to be, in miles. The 320 mph is obviously not correct. It would be funny to know how fast the car is going.

Sweet improvement. It's more entertaining now. Yes vote. Was I the only person to think this in most of the races?: Traffic Report - One car is driving on the wrong side of the road. laranja - One? I'd say all of them.

"Our radar camera clocked you doing 211. We must pay YOU a fine of $6549300." Only in Soviet Russia SNES Lamborghini - American Challenge. Congrats on the improvement. It is now much more entertaining.

Let's see. 300 mph is 134 m/s. If we assume constant acceleration (a big assumption), then that is 44.7 m/s^2 acceleration, or 4.6 g's, which is darn close to the human consciousness tolerance. Assuming a constant 2rd derivative of velocity, then we have an initial peak of 9 g's. Clearly, the driver is an android. Anyways... This is a nice run. It is good to see the boring-ness (where I sit and watch the 32 identical background cities scroll by) reduced to a single race, followed quickly by glitches and epic-ness.

Crazy fast driving, just like the last one! And much more entertaining now, after cutting out most of the slow second race. Yes vote!

Nice improvement over your last run. I thought the last one was pretty good, but this one is much more entertaining without that second slow race. Yes vote from me.

Often times racing games make boring TASes but not in this case. Obvious a lot of effort went into keeping the car at top speed without crashing

Oh yah! I avoided bump because of the emulator reproducing endless sound of car bumping ... in the cases its show its because a npc car hit at each other or a car hit at a thing at the 5TH race!
My main objective here is to TAS the most obscure games titles!

Why is that? Perhaps we can figure out what went wrong.

Claiming for publishing. Here's the optimized screenshot: Now, I'll encode the SD if absolutely necessary, but I'd prefer if NitroGenesis could have me diagnose the issue with his desync. Or, if he's not available to do that, perhaps laranja's first encode could be his own publication!

It was a sound channel error. Re encoding.
