Hi I make a TAS of Aero Fighter on Snes. My goal : Finish the game by shooting only the boss For the moment i have done three levels and i'm working on the fourth level I think i will post a video soon.

If i understand what are you talking about so no you can always shoot the boss. You never wait between two shoots. (Sorry i'm french so i don't always understand but i try to understand and answer)

Prion is asking: "If you wait on the boss and do not shoot it, will the boss fight end automatically on its own?" For example, most arcade shmups have a time limit on all bosses, if it is not destroyed before the time limit it is automatically destroyed. Some examples are Ikaruga and Giga Wing.
