Bill Bisco: check out http://tasvideos.org/2012S.html which isn't finely tuned but has some... uh... "major"... skips.

Is AKA still working on the any% run for this game. If so how far along is he and when will the run be finished?

You should probably read the last 4 posts in a thread (atually, more, but in this case that's not necessary) before you ask something in it :)

Very nice, but it would make a 100% run relatively even more boring. picking up skulltula's wouldn't add anything very interesting, but maybe something like getting the ice arrow would. I don't know if that was known before or not, but to me this is somewhat like more evidence that the current submission has the right goals for a 'full movie', instead of a 100% run.

Nice little run there, pretty confused throughout most of that but hey ice arrows are cool so whatever. Now I'm wondering just how much of the game is completable as Young Link. Too bad the entrance to Ganon's Castle is about the only place you can't reach as him.

I love that weird headslide thing that Link does when sidehopping over the room-changing plane. Good to see it's apparently the fastest way.

Forest Temple-Freezes after completion Fire Temple-Needs Hammer to damage Volvagia Water Temple-I can't remember if YL can beat Morpha, but otherwise completable Shadow Temple-Completable Spirit Temple-Needs Mirror Shield to damage Twinrova If any of that is wrong, someone please say so.

Technically you could skip all that with RBA, and then you'd just have to get into Ganondorf's castle, right? Now that would be a cool run to watch, were it only doable. Wonder why the forest temple freezes. Oh well, no point thinking too hard on it.

Probably has to do with the Deku Tree sprout spawning in "child world" or child Link spawning in "Adult word."

You could if you could get the broken Goron sword as a kid (it points to the medallions, if you didn't already know). No known way of doing this at the moment, though.

I tested using the beta version and I was able to load the scene as YL after the Deku Sprout tells Link the story. YL appears in the Adult Forest but as soon as he enters a transitional screen everything returns to normal. I don't think the game freezes, more to do with the game not being able to locate and load the relavent cutscene.

Speaking of that, I noticed a goof while playing through the game the other day. After you beat the Forest Temple and warp back out in front of the dead Deku Tree, he's brown, i.e. the colour he was when he was still alive. But after the Deku Sprout cutscene is over, he's back to grey again. <_<

I'm unable to play Bloobiebla's submission - it desyncs shortly after the first pause after acquiring the kokiri sword. Any ideas? I'm starting from the beginning with no savestates. Using: glN64 0.4.1 Jabo's Directsound 1.6 TAS Input 0.6 with mempak turned on RSP emulation WinXP Pro SP3 and latest mupen re-recording .8 EDIT: Sorry, I should have thought of reading through the submission thread first. Sorry for extra thread junk.

I noticed in SL En Route to Kakariko he did the Owl skip. I was wondering if there is a video anywhere or if someone can post one of the rupee route getting the extra 10 rupees to buy the deku stick. Thanks.

There isn't a video of it anywhere unfourtunatley, since we haven't released the WIP or encoded that part of the run.

RBA takes the value of whatever you have on B, (the normal methods of RBA put some bottled item on it) and writes it to the thing that the item on C-right "points to." In this case we would put the broken goron's sword to C-right and change the value of the item on B in order to edit how many medallions we have

And then we use a delorean combined with a flux capacitor to go back in time. Dont believe me? Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd did it.
