Why is anything other than [2735] GBA Digimon Sapphire by Noxxa in 31:59.40 even eligible?

Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Has everyone forgotten [2513] SNES Super Mario World "arbitrary code execution" by Masterjun in 02:25.19?
Not forgetting it, this is the Funny category, and I don't find that movie particularly funny, especially when the bulk of the beginning antics was copied directly from a previous movie.

I'd like to nominate [2641] Arcade Magician Lord by £e_Nécroyeur in 07:17.73 for this category. Funny movement, unexecpted glitches, and ridiculous cutscenes. What more could you want?

[2641] Arcade Magician Lord by £e_Nécroyeur in 07:17.73 Agreed with scrimpeh. That twinkle-toe two-stepping, along with the hilariously bad Engrish dialogue, made this an easy nomination for me. A couple of gems: "Your are very dangerous. Be dead down here." "Come on nice guy! But your life is mine very soon"

Shouldn't people be nominating for funniest TAS, not funniest game?

That's a good distinction, now that you mention it. I'll re-frame it this way: The tool-assisted movement, primarily, is what cracked me up the most. Having the Engrish dialogue with it is like the icing on the cake.

I literally laughed out loud when I saw the Pong TAS, quite loudly actually. It is the only one on this list I can say that about so I only have one logical choice for my vote!
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

Sooooooooooooooooooo why is this still here? Because that is not a funny TAS.

If we are going to decide what counts as funny or not in order for something to be nominated, then we might as well just skip the whole nomination and voting process.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

People at AGDQ laughed, if I remember well. And so did I. I think this TAS should be here, and not in the glitchy TAS award.
