On this site, http://tasvideos.org/Addresses-List.html, you can find the memory addresses to a bunch of games. However, if I'm trying to find the addresses to certain attributes (character X position, X speed, ...) of a game that is not listed, how would I go about doing that? Thanks very much in advance!

If you can't find these specific RAM Adresses or collections called RAM Maps online, then your only option is to search for them in the emulator itself by using the RAM Search. We have the wiki articles like RAM Search or Memory Search about that. And maybe you find more things by browsing the TASing Guide. There are also a bunch of other helpful articles in the Article Index, more specifically under Movies -> Movie Making -> Using tools. (Sorry for the amount of links, but we seem to have a bunch of information on the wiki already) Oh, and welcome to TASVideos! :D

Or, you know, just disassemble the game. ;)
