where do i change languages for snk games in arcade bizhawk? i completed a TAS for fatal fury 3 in which the ending doesn't play if you're playing in english, I tested the date theory (over 2k years is not the cause of the glitch) but that didn't work out at all. to be clearer the game is completed normally, but the ending can't be seen unless i play in japanese: https://rq87.flyingomelette.com/RQ/NG/FF3e/1.html i think it should be a setting but it's not there somehow
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

First off: you need to set up everything before recording anything since what you're aiming is enabling the console mode aka AES mode for neogeo games like Fatal Fury which has different menus (even enabling cheats on AES mode is possible whereas MVS does not supports) so if you recorded something using MVS bios playbacking the same run on AES will not work, Fatal Fury 3 endings was never fixed on MVS boards resulting into an distortion ending after beating the last boss, you don't need to change the language if you are playing on cosole mode if I'm not wrong only MVS requires the changing (need testing). Now to enable AES (console mode) on bizhawk is simple: open the game and search for Arcade>Settings and at bios it will be displayed as Europe MVS as standard, change that to Universe Bios Hack version 4.0, reboot the game and it's already done, if you still want to acess game bios for language change you can do it by opening the game holding ABC after the game boot (or before) leading you into neogeo bios who allows you to change regions and other ingame stuff.
Someone who still enjoy playing fighting games ;)
