Crash the game ten times. That's it, that's the entire goal.
We Know the Game and We're Gonna Play It
Spawning a RICKROLL, dropping MAGIC onto him, then picking up and holding the ice cube with the stylus.
Stilted Stilts
Putting STILTS on a MANNEQUIN (MANIKIN.)
Welcome to Jurassic Dark
Creating a HOSTILE MONSTER (TREX,) shooting it with a LOVE BOW, then riding it into a TIME MACHINE. A teleporter can be used too.
Can't Bear to Bear the Bear
Summoning a HOSTILE ANIMAL (BEAR,) riding it, then having a STRONGER MONSTER (OOZE) kill it. This crash can be averted by dismounting in time.
Not Getting Away Butterscotch-Free
Picking up HANDCUFFS BILBO, attaching them to a VENDING MACHINE, putting them in and using a FLOOD to destroy everything.
Scribblenauts + Doppelganger's Minions
...electrifying a CORPSE. Seriously.
Leeksinner
Dropping EARTH MAGIC onto LOITUMA GIRL.
Boomer Boomerang
Using a BOOMERANG, giving it back to Maxwell before it can return normally, having him remove it, attaching a ROPE to it, moving it and having Maxwell pick up the piece of rope still attached. It's complicated, but the video shows it better.
Tough Sword to Swallow
Attaching a SWORD to a CAR with GLUE, then using it to indirectly hit another CORPSE.
Nickel-and-Dime the Five-and-Dime
Last, but certainly not least... Accidentally miss tapping a button in the Ollar Store menu.
Gotta put this stuff here too:
  • Emulator: BizHawk 2.10 (x64) (default settings)
  • No BIOS used
  • ROM name: Scribblenauts (USA) (En,Fr,Es,Pt)
  • SHA1 hash: B8FE26BD75168DE551B52CDDF4D86A4754BD5478
  • MD5 hash: 70F474FD6872F7D313EC2E4035830B54
Check the video for commentary. Thanks again, and happy April Fools!

eien86: Claiming for judging.

eien86: This movie showcases a selection of 10 ways to provoke the game into crashing and rebooting. These crashes are not the only possible ones, but are within a subset that can be done quickly and don't need to play the game any further.
There was some discussion as to how whether to publish this movie and to classify it. We've reached the conclusion that it is, indeed, entertaining and interesting. Therefore, it would be a shame to deny the wider audience from watching it. However, the goal of '10 crashes' seems excessively arbitrary. Futhermore, it leads to the difficult scenario that any X-number of crashes would lead to a different movie. Instead, we decided to classify this as 'crashfest'. Any superceding movie should exceed this one in entertainment value, or add more crashes to the ones showcased here.
Accepting to Alternative 'crashfest'

Amazing crashes. It would be interesting to know why they happen.

Hi hydrideGS I'm sitting here wondering... why 10? I mean, I can imagine why, but I rather not make assumptions. Are these all possible ways to crash the game?

The game is so poorly programmed that we'd have a stupidly long TAS if I were to show them all, so I chose ten as a nice, round number. As for these ten in particular, they were chosen because none of them require starting a "challenge" campaign. You'd think that starting one would allow you to skip the intro sequence, but... nope. So I avoided creating a save file for that exact reason. (not sure how I made another reply just now, oops...)

If you aimed for just the fastest crash, which one would you pick?
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Certainly stilts on a mannequin. Doesn't get much faster than making two objects and putting them together.

Final question, are there other crashes not included in this movie, that could be more fun to watch?

I personally don't think that's the issue here; almost half of the entire video is spent on the opening credits... which can't be skipped, no matter what. There are definitely some that would be more fun to watch, but because a substantial portion of the video would just be those credits, I don't know if it's worth it or not.
