Sheerluck (Compute's Gazette)

Are you a super sleuth? or do you consider yourself a good armchair detective? Do you have a keen eye for detail, a good memory, and a nimble brain? You'll need all of these plus a bit of initiative skill to m aster this game.
The article for this game can be found on page 57 of Compute's Gazette Issue 83 (May 1990)

Why TAS This Game?

The continuation of TASing games from my all-time favorite magazine, Compute's Gazette. This makes my 94th TAS from this series.
Didn't own this magazine...although I know I would have loved it. Race Ace would have probably been my favorite of the ones in this issue, as I might have overlooked this game. It just didn't seem interesting to me. Now that I have TASed it, I have a bit more appreciation for it.

Game Difficulty and Ending

There is no difficulty selection in this game. It basically progresses through each level, until it maxes itself out with 8 criminals. Thereafter...it repeats over and over.

Effort In TASing (Not BOTed)

There wasn't much to TASing this. All you have to do is find the right combination...basically a trial and error approach. After you scroll through the criminals, you just have to find out if scrolling down or up will get you faster to the person that matches the name.

Human Comparison

DrD2k9: This game reminds me of Mastermind. Run looks good. Accepting
