As I discussed for Wii version in the RE4 forum, Dolphin .dtm has non-deterministic behavior resulting in desyncs due to a difference between playing a .dtm movie when dolphin is initially opened, versus playing back the same .dtm after the initial attempt is stopped in the same instance. In my test it was the memory image files not the .dtms that were different between syncing and desyncing save states. Forum post https://tasvideos.org/Forum/Topics/9026?CurrentPage=21&Highlight=545420#545420 DTM file and sync instructions User file #639260749618897922 I am hoping this can help lead developers to a solution for this desync issue that has plagued my RE4 TAS attempts over the past few years, and possibly benefit TASers of other Wii games. Edit: Changed user file to remove inserted Gamecube memory card.

I think this is a better place to report the issue. I see some Dolphin devs not present here came across some of the TAS bugs in the tracker.

Thanks! While I can't promise I'll be able to look into this desync personally, it's always good for us to have a concrete way to reproduce a desync. That's something we don't have for most of the desyncs we hear of.

There is another case which seems similar to the reported one: desyncs on the first replay (around the first switch), but goes through on the second replay. Game: Scooby Doo: Unmasked for GC. Dolphin 2512. User file #639067306071794165
