Hey everyone! This is where a funny conversation becomes an idea. Some Players from Canada are thinking of making a TAS and calling themselves "Team Canada". Who (from canada) will want to join us with Team Canada? - Vatchern - Phil - DeHackEd - Deviance - Halamantariel

Funny idea. :) What TAS are you guys planning to do? By the way, I'm Canadian, but I'm not signing up.

Team Finland would be... Bisqwit? AnotherGamer? Sami? Shinryuu? Aqfaq? Jukeboksi? Player1? Kyrsimys? Sampyla? Maza? NeonTiger? Tviks? Kilu? Tombad? Loeckenbe? mazzeneko? Oasiz? Warp? Hmm, there are more Finns here than I thought. Well anyway, what is this all about? Tentatively, I'm not in.

One idea for a game to do is Secret of Mana, while One player controls 3 players at the same time.

Cool, I didn't know that! Consider yourself accepted to the team! :) I've added you to the list now.

This is really a great idea! 4-5 teams like Finland, Sweden, Canada, US and others should all do one TAS and submit it same time to see who is the winner :) But the problem is which game should the countries battle for? :) I have 0% experience of Secret of Mana so anything besides that would be better, or we could all go our separate ways and just keep in touch with each persons own team and do a TAS.

i think it should be made teams of 4, and all the countries with at least this number of ppl could partipate.. teams of 4, and in the case of some countries like finland and sweden which have lots of ppl here, can creates teams 1, 2, 3 [..], competing each other too like it was another country.. thats because, for example, 18 ppl from finland can do a better polished job much faster than us brazilian which will hardly find a 4th member XD about the game, i think it needs to be an unknown game, so you will not find improvements at gamefaqs for example XD leaving it to the teams.. what about it?!^^

That sounds good, daniayaw! I'm up for it, and hopefully most of the other Swedes are up for it too. I agree that it should be an unknows game, so that everyone has pretty much the same prerequisites for this. Does anybody know of a good game to pick for this?

Maine is a state in the United States that shares a border with Canada.

It would be hard to choose the game, because it seems that people have different opinions about emulators. I would probably not want to make a SNES movie. Anyway, TAS (team-assisted-speedrun) is a funny idea. Oh, but all the funniest ideas are usually impractical. I might be interested. It depends on the game/emulator choice. My suggestions for Gens: Batman, Wardner, Tinhead, Mr. Nutz

Seems we've gone away from Team Canada and started forming all kinds of teams. I've thought about what might be possible with team tool-assisted netplay. Short version: are there any good cooperative multiplayer games? Hopefully not TOO long, but would benefit from having control of at least 2 characters at once? (4 would be cool...) Lost Vikings is one...

I've played one Gauntlet game for N64. Other than minor button puzzles, it was extremely dull and uninteresting overall. And long.

Imo, Gauntlet on N64 was the best :P BoltR had suggested Super Smash TV.

Instead of Secret of the Mana 1, do Seiken Densetsu 3 with using both controlers. I know its a translation (ie a hack), but its a very standard translation (you'll only find 1 version of the rom).
