If you had bothered to read 3 posts up, you would have seen Metropolis 2 done 46 frames faster than that; and the post immediately after explained how to get 3 more frames.

Nice job marzojr & FuzZerd! Are there any other places with colossal improvements such as this?

I think I already said this in a previous post but: I believe there are improvements to metropolis 1 and 3 (screw glitch) and casino night 1 can go down to 23 with the new zip found by koshi. also I think upth knows of minor improvements to other levels (or am I mistaken?) also I thought the WF platforms didn't depend on previous levels.

I'm afraid I'm going to have the pass on the All Emeralds run to someone else, the real world needs me more. Feel free to use my input during the Special Stages from my previously submitted input. Remember to use Tails off-screen to help collect rings that may ordinarily be off route. Best of luck to whomever takes up this endevour.

Thats sad to hear DDRKhat. Anyways, I know I an stating the obvious here, but I think that the capsules can improve quite a bunch of time. How are those improvements going btw?

(I give myself an account that I have not commented much. And besides how much they carry from the movie, until what zone they have carried.)

OK. A few days ago to publish a movie of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 [Without spin]. It was rejected, and I want this time to help me. Here I give the movie, and you can see as we do. But I'm doing the beginning to Chemical Plant, as up there want to help me. http://tasvideos.org/submissions/2574.zip I hope the help you need.

Hello Felipe, and welcome to TASVideos! I just wanted to let you know that you should upload your movies to Microstorage in the future. That way you can let us see them without having to make a submission to the website. :) Good luck with your TAS!

you should be doing full jumps at the start of the level. try to avoid jumping once you're at full speed, even if you hit a ceiling before losing speed you still lose a frame. also if you have to jump try and jump on a downhill slope and let go of forward so you can go over the max speed. I think the TAS route is usually (for the most part) still the optimal route even with out spindashes. try to get the bouncing off enemies strat the TAS uses in EH1, I'm sure something similar is possible with out spindashes. you should use glitches although you might be able to make some rule about not using certain glitches it would be hard to justify, and would have almost no chance of getting published. you could probably add a no horizontal underflow clause though. you might want to try the left+right trick to gain more acceleration from a stop but I don't think it would be a big deal if you just didn't use left+right/up+down at all. you might also want to try rolling/jumping down some hills but this doesn't always give more speed then just running down them. also you should never roll up hills or on flat ground or break unless you have to. obviously 1000 rerecords isn't nearly enough to make a TAS, try to make every part perfect. as it is right now I think I could probably beat EH1 and EH2 with out tools. Good Luck.

Understood. Try to make it perfect, but be long enough. But thanks anyway. I already have ready EH1 (0:23) and EH2 (0:40). And use the route TAS.

I got 22 EH1 in only a couple minutes and a few rerecords, redo it. I don't know what you mean by "be long enough" check out: http://tasvideos.org/SonicTheHedgehogTricks.html for useful tips and ram watch values.

sorry. It would require a long time. But I can not move the wall in chemical plant zone 2 to pass down and not pass up. Look: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1605450683/master-sonicthehedgehog2%5BWithout%20Spindash%5D.gmv That's what I did on the movie and I can not progress What should I do?

I don't think that trick is possible as sonic. also so far this doesn't seem like a TAS as much as just messing around. I'd suggest not submitting it.

Then. I give this work to you. I require much time to make this work perfectly, and furthermore have no long time. As classes begin on March 8 by the earthquake that occurred in Chile. I just help you with any information you can provide. Thank you.

I think I may want to rise to this challenge of an all emeralds run. Do you all mind if I give it a try? I think a TAS run of this would look nice and efficient. I do have a lot of knowledge of Sonic.
Current real time speedruns. "Warpless" Super Mario bros. 3 (1:01:48) Working on. "Warpless" Super Mario bros. 3 (Faster then 1:00:00) Sonic 3 and Knuckles (Faster then the current speedrun) Sonic 1 (At least under 17:00)

As stated earlier, if desired. Input can be copy/pasted from my posted demo run for the Special Stages themselves (to save the agony of having to do it).

I have read that after collecting all the emeralds, super sonic is not very used, but super sonic, you can easily reach extreme speeds.

I actually found this to be fairly impressive. Although I'm pretty sure none of the levels were perfect (in fact I think my run of EH1 beat yours by a few frames) its definitely a marked improvement over your previous WIP. or maybe I've become a bit less picky recently... idk.

It is irrelevant I know, but from a stylistic point of view, I would have thought you would have used Tails for a Non Spindash run. Especialy since you have already gone into the options menu to select Sonic alone.
