Plays as Rockman
   100 CD collection
   Manipulates Luck
   Abuses programming errors in game
   Takes no damage
   Emulator Used: SNES9x 1.43 +v9
   Use WIP1 Timing - on
   Allow Left+Right/Up+Down - off
Volume Envelope Height Reading - on
Fake Mute desync Workaround - off
Sync samples with sound CPU - on
Usually You think you will need both characters to collect all 100 CD
However, By using Ice Wall and Lightninging Bolt Rockman can collect all cds himself This movie will prove it.
The CD hidden underground need Rush Searsh which only appear in the shop when you finished three boss. In another word, there are at least four states (include intro) you will need to revisit.
To get all BurnerMan's stage's CD you will need Wave Burner therefore this state must revisit
Meanwhile, GroundMan's stage and TenguMan's stage have two road for each Both way have CDs While GroundMan's stage can use death to collect all CD, TenguMan's stage need to revisit.
For Personal reason, I decided to do a No Damage run
Walkthrough: Intro → ColdMan → BurnerMan → GroundMan → Shop( Rush search & Exit ) → TenguMan → MagicMan → PirateMan → Shop( Energy saver & High speed charge) → revisit( Intro & ColdMan ) → AstroMan → DynamoMan → Gateway → revisit( Burner & Ground & Tengu ) → King stage 1 → King stage 2 → Willy stage
There are many place similar to Forte run by Gigafrost, thereofore I will pass.
I found a bug in reColdMan battle, although it's no help for time, but looks interesting.
And I am bad luck in reAstroMan battle,so it looks not very good. After reBurnerMan battle,it seems I stoped for a while, but in fact, I am in music loading that time.

adelikat: I guess this fits into the %100 category. Due to popular demand, I am setting this to accepted.

If you vote "no" for an outstanding run like this, you really should have at least justified your actions.
Which run should I encode next? :)

I demand the no voter come forth to be executed! This run reeked of AWESOMENESS. Getting all 100 CDs I know is ridicuously hard, but doing it all with Rockman, especially getting the ones you'd normally need Gospel Boost for was just wicked. VOTE YES FOR KICK ASS.

I just rewatched the run, and my vote is still yes, but I have one question. In the AstroMan stage, the place where there are those appearing blocks which you need to climb to top left and grab the ladders to reach a new room, which has two CDs: one you can reach with Ice Wall (or with the appearing blocks), and the other one which originally needs Gospel Boost to be able to reach. (you use Ice Wall in there). When you return down the ladders, wouldn't it be better to wait for the blocks to appear again, rather than drop down to the very bottom? If anyone is interested - publishers including ;) - I have made an .avi of this run.

I'm voting meh on this one. To be honest, I can't find what everyone else finds so appealing about it, although that might be because I'm a fan of Forte in this game far more than Rockman (double jump, dash, and autofire 7 directional buster? can't go wrong for me). Either way, I found it kinda boring to watch.

Simple. The difficulty of pulling this off while still being fast. Being that you must have played this game, you KNOW that this game is hard as hell. Yet the runner manages to get all 100 CDs (which some shouldn't be possible for Rockman to get), never got hit, and STILL maintained a blindingly fast pace is totally incredible in my eyes.

I think the whole 'stop and wait for dog to dig up a cd' thing kind of killed the blindingly fast pace.

I agree. These stops were annoying the hell out of me.

He STILL did them exceedingly fast, even doing the extremely difficult ones (like Astro Man's level, there's on in there that's almost impossible on a console due to it's positioning). You have to give him credit for that. Yes, there are stops scattered about. The stops were only when necessary and done as fast as possible in order to maintain the goal. They also showed great knowledge as the one item in Auto's shop wasn't collected to show where they were. They also showed extreme skill due to some of their placements.

When back to the screen, the character will fall down immediately, I can't hold my pose. But I still tied, such as use Tengu Blade to climb to the middle right, cause Rockman's leg look like can touch futher when using Tengu Blade.. however, it is just look like that and is useless. Sorry for my poor English.

Knowing that the run is encoded should not affect how the submission is judged. As Bisqwit said before, posting on the forum does not accomplish the purpose. Save it for later, when the run is accepted.

I played this game, and I agree that Rockman is very difficult to use, as the game seems to be made with Forte in mind. And to get all 100 CDs and without taking a hit. I love it. I'd vote yes if I could.

I wasnt able to view your fine run before because the latest Snes9x kept crashing whenever I tried opening your WIP. Better late than never but I give you a strong yes vote, I really liked it, excellent.

Mega Man never looked so good, scrolling up and down like you knew he would! Yes vote.
