The charge beam takes like 3 seconds to get, so it's not like your route is impossible to use in a console run if someone would just modify one item pickup. I don't know if I can progress any more, since that means I'll have to go kill Phantoon, which would probably take alot of effort since I've never done a one round kill before. And also, I can't see any new good strategies in my movie, and I don't know if I can come up with any for the remaining items. And by the way, you've thought about this, right? http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/948/

One rounding Phantoon wasn't as much of a pain as I thought it would be, honestly. And yes, that strategy is in my route. It wasn't in my super-preliminary route because I needed Super Missles earlier, but I have plenty now that I'm actually into that part of the run.

You mean Michael Fordan? Well, I think it would be great to see some WIPs from Mercury Freddie.

I updated at 50%, it was only a week ago...but you haven't mentioned it, so maybe you missed it? Click-click How are people feeling about updates? I don't have a problem either way, but I feel like I'm spoiling the run for some. I suppose those who didn't want it spoiled could just avoid watching the progress...I just know that I don't have enough self-control to avoid watching progress of a run I'm interested in :) I defeated Draygon yesterday, but I found a sizeable optimization in the room beforehand, so I'm redoing it today.

I think it's a good idea not to post WIPs anymore.

I think it's a good idea to post them. You can always miss a trick or two. And those who think it's spoiling the run can simply avoid watching it.

Both times there have been people willing to go out of the way to spot possible clean-ups, so I'd say yeah do at least one more.

I agree with Guybrush, painful as it is to say. I can't control myself when they're just a mouse click away, but I'd prefer not having seen too much already when it's submitted.

Yeah, what Fabian said. I resisted for a long time and had only watched up until 20% but then I gave up. Now I wish I hadn't :(

More WIPs please. If it's a problem for others, perhaps you could PM those who want them.

Or keep posting WIPs to the same URL, but don't say the URL in the new posts. ie. when you say "I'm at 60%" that's code for all of us that know the URL from a previous page to go grab it again, but it's enough extra steps that the people who don't want it spoiled don't have to worry.

I have a few alternative WIP sharing ideas I'd like to contribute. No seriously, it's no big deal either way.

Now that we all know the "code" your idea isn't any good for us who can't resist to download a new WIP.
