Read Topic Title... Just wondering would they ever be aceptable to TAS or are they generally considered too simple and purley documetry play.

If flash games become accepted, then all console hacked game would also have to be accepted... and only a very select group of them is allowed.

Hmmm, I think if rerecording can be implemented, then probably someone may be interested. But then again, implementing rerecording would be deemed too much work for flash games, and considering that most of flash games developed are intended as coffee break games, I doubt there would be little interest in them I guess.

I'd love to see a Domo-Kun Angry Smashfest no-death run considering I can't get past the Golden Axe level (my dragon keeps running away before the red knights arrive)

I can't think of a single flash game i'd even want to see TAS"d. Most are uninteresting and score oriented.

Most flash games are lame. This is the last good game I've played.

Don't forget SprintGod's tetris ... speaking of which did anyone see the tetris clone that made the front page of Digg a few weeks ago? The writeup waxed poetic about how awesome it was and it blew compared to Sprint's, which I consider to be the definitive version.

I remember playing that game and thinking, "this would be a lot more fun if I hadn't spent three years of my life banging the keypad for a living."

Haha, not only am I faster, I have a better strategic understanding of the game. And since I don't consider myself to be all that good at much of anything, yeah, he's not that good :) .

I would have TASed each of the Ball Revamped games long ago if there were a way to do so. I held the world record time for BR3: Andromeda (200 sec.) for several months, until I gave away my strategies and someone else used them to beat my time (by two seconds). I believe a 192 or 193 is possible with frame-perfect input. I still hold the best time for BR3: Gemini (299 sec.).

Hmm, not actually a game... but Line Rider is cool.

There is a fairly easy way to get both balls perfectly stuck in the center. Last I heard, once you break 1 minute they start calling you a cheater. Someone let the game run like that for over 2 hours, but he never mentioned what message he was given upon killing himself.

It took me until today (two weeks) to finish all 30 stages. I feel tricked for not getting any kind of reward for that, but it's still a nice game. Definetly a good choice for TASing, if there'd ever be TASable flash games.
