Thanks to Stanski, this unpopular movie is made shorter again.
Even in simple games there are way too many routes available.
I had completely missed this obvious possibility:
Stanski's jump saved 194 frames.
Additional 5 frames were saved by luck. (The solution for the third room got 6 frames slower, but was achieved with 11 frames less luck manipulation.)
Total improvement is 199 frames.
This is the most significant improvement for a while, and I would not have found it by myself, so I felt that Stanski deserved a co-author status. *applause*
I'm still not sure about the definition of luck manipulation or taking-damage-to-save-time, so let's ignore those to keep things simple. Just keep the old description/categories/screenshot.
These movies end input later for entertainment, but would achieve the same AVI lenght. So I was thinking that maybe one of these might be used for the encoded version. I suppose it's up to the encoder to use whichever file she/he likes the most. Stanski's favorite is the "DC - alternative 2.gmv", so consider that one. Eh, that is, if there's still someone who has the nerves to encode yet another Dark Castle movie.
Please keep it in the queue as long as possible.
Thanks.
