I wonder why someone would need an opensource program while this person cannot use google by himself... compiling an IRCd would be 100 times harder !

IRC sucks it lags like crazy and thats opening a CHANNEL opensource so i can make my own mods to it

I wonder what kind of misconception that is. For me, most of the time IRC looks practically instant.

Beats me, I use Safari. Well what it does is, it opens a chatbox within whatever website you are on. It lets you chat with other people doing the same thing.
