This run must be done when I had found some glitches in several months ago,But it seems not perfect to force the character into the walls in the past. I had found how to enter the corner more efficient before Tas the run,so I did this run and played as Rockman.

I bought "Lice Search", "Exit", "Shock Guard" in the first time.
The second times I bought "Counter Attack", Energy Saver", "Shock Guard",I didn't buy "H.speed charge" because of bolts wasn't enough.

Glitches

Ice wall is the most important weapon than others, there's no doubt. I only point out some unobvious tricks.
In general, when you jumped directly and used ice on the left-side block,it was impossible to touch the top ladder and grabbed.
But now we still can do it since I had found the block has a bad cllsion code.
  • The first closed to left wall.
  • The second dashed to right side.
  • The third you will find Rockman had risen a bit.
  • The fourth used ice after jumped.
Used ice to reach the next platform.
Avoided damage by rush.
Avoiding damage by someone it's something like in RM7(Rockman taken damage then Rush was safe in Iceman level).
After watched the WIP,I thought you might know the weapon of L.bolt could control up/down/left/right.
The place where had acicula and CD,in my originally project I planned usage Shock Guard at it,but I found usage L.bolt twice could pass-through the acicula without wasting Shock Guard and I could keep zip going on.
By the way,I had found a glitch to mess up the graph and shoot from erroneous position.

You need press button like follow
1→+B
2→+B+Y (burner"s weapon)
3→+B
4→+B
5→+B
6→+B
7→+B
8→+B
9→+B
10→+B
11→+B
12→+B
13→
14→+R (Tengu"s weapon)
15→
16→+R+Y (Astro"s weapon)
Note:The glitch doesn"t work when you had gotten M.card.

Thanks

I copied and improved vsmk3's intro stage.
FractalFusion discovered how to pass-through the gate.
Enjoy it

After watching your run, I think it is safe to say that the word rape has a new meaning. Astonishing run! I loved it when you one time combined moonwalking with M.C Hammer dancing!! :) That dog sure takes his time to dig. Nevertheless, either your run or Fractalfusions upcoming any% run deserves a star. Yes vote.

The glitches were absolutely mind boggling. And even more death abuse - interesting. Admitably, while I don't mind taking damage to save time, the damage during King's tank and Cold Man refight were kinda stupid, IMO. Not enough to change my YES vote, but it was still dumb.

This reminds me very much of the first Rockman 2 TAS I watched years ago. Ah, memories... Wonderful to watch, very well done. Easy Yes.

What an amazing run! Originally, I wanted to point out the best things, but there were simply too many things to remember :) I'm also glad that you keep on tasing. You contribute both, good runs and tricks to this community, which leads to great runs like this one.

I believe the damage during these parts were to build weapon energy, since there's a shop item that will do this. P.S. Yes vote from me.

Impressive glitching and noticeable improvement over the previous run entertainment-wise… But that dog sure breaks the pace. :\ I have troubles imagining what overall advantages in entertainment does the 100CD category provide if it requires so much backtracking and boring waiting periods. I guess I should look forward to the upcoming Forte version. Still, voting yes for the better parts of the movie.

Moozooh, to give a different point of view, I much rather watch a 100CD run than a normal one, the small wait for Rush to dig is not much and we get to see cool glitching. Plus, it just feels like it accomplishes a nice goal... I mean there's so many megaman games; seeing someone kill bosses isn't anything new. Seeing someone get 100% like in one of the megaman X or this one is awesome in my opinion. Loved the groundman stage, didn't think you could of gotten all the CDs in that one in one go with the split paths. Yes vote

I give this the official zipper award: Wowzee. This movie puts Megaman 1 and 2 to shame. Being a more patient kind of person, the rush dog never bothered me in the former 100 CD movie anyways, and you did so many new things when waiting for the dog, like going into the floor so that you can zip past the CD and collect it. There was just so much zipping... zip.... zip... zip... at some parts I wondered because you went past a CD the first time you entered a stage when it seems like it was a short and manageable detour to get it. But the rest of the planning was awesome. I loved when you lightning bolted down like 3 screens, and collected a CD even while wall sinking. Overall, Megaman's inferior speed movement compared to Forte's did not bother me. I look forward to Fractal's run, and give this a BIG YES.

Welcome to the world of Rockman :P I'm really amazed about this, you totally managed to destory this game with your toprated work. I really enjoyed to watch the whole run from the start to end. It was nice when you went to shopping for unique items, collected cd's at the second time when you entered the stages because you were able to save a huge amount of time just glitching around! This run was like a art in some ways and this reminds me about the NES ages of Rockman glitching. Unbelievable and toprated optimization and work from you this was really entertaining. I can sense your motivation of improvement, will to test every single frame out to know what is the fastest way in the end. I'm waiting other works from you! yay, you know what? You are now equipped with a extra weapon called "Yes vote-Buster" :)

I LOL'ed at some of the skips. The BZZT noise of hitting the wrong button as megaman flings himself through the wall anyway. Hilarious.

As spockybiemmichab said that it was very complex,so I had spent on a week for plan of the router and then I need to know could it work, tested it,thought it,did it again and again.Besides,I must notic the rest of the weapon energy, bolts and went to the shop timing... :| About the router: I went back Astroman,Tengu,Cold between Burnerman and Pirateman, because it needed big amount of ice.I could refill energy of ice in next level(Tengu) without wasting time, the next level Cold that I could abuse ice again. It was over my imaged what a lot of L.bolt and Ice used in Groundman level, even if I had energy saver. The rest of the stage was fortress just used weapon CAREFUL.especially after beated king1-monkey,because I was changing energy saver to counter attack. Overall, when I had beaten the eight robot masters and then I liked the next was Crystal and then was King.In other words,It kills the mood to go back after Crystal, personal feel. I think the tempo of the whole router is very well, slow(before astro level)->half speed(during astro and magic)->full speed(after magic level)

My point was more like, how much of this glitching is going to be omitted in the any%?

Well, some will be omitted. Remember, Forte just blazes through most of the levels, and his zips are mostly horizontal, not as many vertical (he's capable of doing any type of zip, technically more capable because of his double jump, but in Fractal's WIP he is zipping horizontally way more.) Here, there are far more walls that are zipped through to get to many more different areas that Forte doesn't visit.

If you didn't like the damage taken in this run, do not hope. I am taking even more damage in my run. From the fourth Robot Master on, I take at least 21 (out of 28) damage in every level with a boss. Reason: Counter Attack. Does 2 extra damage per hit when Rockman/Forte is at 7 or lower. I don't think many viewers want to see boss battles twice as long. This run impressed me greatly. While Rockman did not have double-jump, he was able to enter corners easier than Forte could.

Entertaining to watch! It would be nicer to see less "switching between different power up", I guess that's not possible without sacrificing time. Voting YES!
