So yeah, while napping, I had this crazy dream. I was playing some version of MC Kids where you could press select at the Title Screen to enter an options page. At the options page, you could switch between Mick, Mack, and two additional female characters. I start the game, then see this cutscene featuring a lion named "Asgan", who is an obvious ripoff of a famous Narnia character (and I even notice this in the dream). Then it starts playing Galaxy Man's Theme from Megaman 9, but in the dream I think it's from Contra. Finally, gameplay begins, except it turns into a first person shooter where you play as Jessie from Team Rocket, and shoot rockets out of a half-folded Laptop computer. I woke up laughing.

I once dreamt I was in a Diablo 2 / Quake III Arena hybrid game. I had to go into the "dungeon", frag some monsters, then use a town portal to go back to "town". And the dream wasn't me playing this game, this was me really there. Edit: granted, the Quake 3 town portal thing was actually just the last part before I woke up from an overall larger dream, but it's the only thing I remember from it.

I've had many videogame-inspired dreams (up to myself starring in a Half-Life 2 byproduct), but I'm not sure either of them were as crazy as yours.

I had a dream where I was on a guitar hero track and I had to jump on all the notes to avoid being eaten by the Chomp from Yoshi's Island, and the track was scrolling really really fast. The cool thing was that I actually managed to hit every note and escape the cave that I was apperently in. I must have had the biggest adrenaline rush I'd ever experienced when I woke up

Made me laugh a bit too much. I've had some game-related dreams before, the only memorable one was me playing Mario, but all the enemies had guns. I don't recall much more than that, I think I woke up when I "died". Nothing nightmarish, though.

I have to admit, I've had a ton of dreams where I'm playing games. Duke Nukem, Zelda, and Blaster Master have been more prominent. Blaster Master more in scarier-type dreams because the boss intro freaked me the hell out as a kid.

I've had hardly any dreams about games. My dreams are generally so very weird and abstruse that I'd never do something as normal as playing a game in them. I've also never dreamed of being part of a game, I generally invent my own landscapes for dreams. Of course things I see in video games affect them, but that's basically it.

I distinctly remember playing OpenTTD for 6 hours with my housemates, going to bed, then dreaming I was playing OpenTTD. Similar events have occured with Guitar Hero and TF2. In my uneducated opinion, I wouldn't be suprised if it's a result of your brain cataloging events that have occured throughout the day and you're transferring that into your dreams. Can be pretty scary though :)

I spent the better part of a day playing Sonic Heroes, and then when I went to bed, I kept seeing streaks of red, blue, and yellow light and generally having a very hard time getting to sleep. Generally I find that any day that's devoted nigh-entirely to a single physically-inactive activity will result in trouble sleeping.

The craziest dream I ever had was me in the Bunker from Goldeneye, fighting evil Tiberium-mutated Pokemon which were spawning out of evil hearts being controlled by Peppy Hare.

Suddenly, I want to play this game... Anyways, most of my VG-related dreams tend to be fairly sensible and somehow related to Fire Emblem. Though I did have this one where about halfway through it segued into Rosie O'Donnel being eaten by zombies. I never did figure that one out, though it was funny as hell.

Back when I played WoW, I apparently had dreams I was playing it all the time. I don't remember any of the dreams, I do however remember waking up and thinking my alarm was some annoying mob I had just pulled aggro from. (I think unbelievably stupid things when I first wake up-I recently thought an alarm sounded purple)

Yeah... I had a weird dream this night... adelikat was driving a car, and I was sitting next to the driver's seat. He then asked me to give him the Super Spy Hunter TAS. I pulled out a big metal plate, with a small TV screen on it, showing the SSH TAS. While showing it, I laughed "Why do you want to watch this, it's not very entertaining!". I noticed that he got a little offended, so I quickly said "Eeh, but it is really optimized." He looked at it for a while and said "Hmm, you have to make it smaller" Suddenly, the metal plate had turned into a small piece of paper, still with a small TV screen on it, showing the SSH TAS. I folded the paper once, and put it away and we kept on driving.

I had this dream where Mario was in Resident Evil 4, somehow he went through the entire game.

I think I win. It started with me waking up in Pallet town. I wandered over to Oaks lab, and picked up a pokeball. ( I picked Charmander). Suddenly, I was sucked into a Poke ball. From here, it goes trippy really fast. Hang on. I woke up in Geometry land, and I had a giant toothpick attached to my hand. Did I mention that it was all changing colours? Just to speed things along, I wandered along from the perspective of SMB. I ended and dueled Chamale and stabbed him in the face. The End.

I've had a couple of game related dreams. Except that right now, I can't remember any of them... I do remember dreaming I was playing on 2 random custom levels on Sonic Robo Blast 2, of which, I really tried to recreate, failing miserably. :P
