Well, I was thinking if this would be good to watch. I may consider picking this up as a little project. What do you guys think?

The questions are: which character and should the Chaos Emeralds be collected?

I have my doubts that this would be any good to watch. The game just blew, and outside of using shortcuts, there's not much you can do. Also, I don't think Yabause can run it any good (haven't checked).

A TAS of this game would be awesome but I haven't been able to run it with Yabause.

Sonikkustar, have you watched any of the Sonic R videos up at The Sonic Center? After watching those videos, let me know if you still think it would be a good TAS candidate.

SHORTCUT 100%, GOGOGO
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

Translating Got4n: Just do the GameCube version. The game can be TASed for some time now.

Does this game run in the new Mednafen core for BizHawk? I'm unable to run 2.0 because I'm 32-bit, but I suppose it should run fine now.

OK, so, I know this reply is 4 years old, but BizHawk is capable of TASing the Sega Saturn!

10 years old for the person in question. You just failed basic addition/subtraction (to the comment). In referral to the bump that's 3 years old... Also, also. Yabause existed for TASing Saturn games before Hawk. Meaning your comment falls basically flat on everything.

Hear me out. BizHawk is MUCH better for Saturn TASing cause of it's simplicity.

You posted that as if we didn't already know that: Notice (in the Emulators section of the forum) that both Yabause-rr and the Yabause-based Saturn core in BizHawk 1 have been disallowed for almost 2 years; also, keep in mind that the very people who develop BizHawk (whether writing new emulation cores or adapting existing ones) are active on these forums, because the BizHawk project originated here, and anyone who has been paying attention on the forums at any time in the past few years already knows that BizHawk is preferred for whatever consoles it can stably emulate.
