I figured I should document this crash just in case someone looks at this and believes there's ACE potential with it. You can end input as early as frame 14945 and still get the crash, but I decided to mash through the "dialogue" to end at frame 33006 instead, which makes the actual crash happen 15 minutes sooner.
In the board called "Pooh & Honey, pt.2" (starting at 2:24), you're given 18 turns to land on all the starred spaces (effectively 20 turns since landing on a starred space does not count as a turn). If you land on the final star on exactly the 18th turn, you'll beat the minigame but simultaneously appears to set a flag to play the "losing cutscene" at the next opportunity. Going to Piglet's "Flood Story" causes it to play the losing cutscene immediately without rolling any dice. If you pause, select "Go to Home", select "New Adventure", then immediately go to "Pooh & Honey, pt.1", you can also get the "losing cutscene" to play there.
However, going to one of "Owls Games" that unlocks additional paths or going home and playing a board game at the mirror is a problem because those don't have any "losing cutscene" associated with them. First, the "Pooh & Honey, pt.2" is erroneously played, followed by an extremely long sequence of glitched cutscenes, eventually resulting in a crash and soft reset.
Nothing special happens if you beat "Pooh & Honey, pt.2" in exactly 18 turns on the European and Japanese releases, as the "losing cutscene" trigger appears to have been patched.
