Astérix & Obélix is a licensed platforming game that is based on the French comic book series Astérix. It has been ported to many platforms, including Windows and DOS PCs, and has even received a remake for the Game Boy Advance. Each of its levels adapts various books in the series where Gauls Astérix and Obélix find themselves in many situations set around the world. To add some variation, certain levels like the ones based off of the book Asterix at the Olympic Games has the duo playing minigames such as the spear throw or hurdles.

x0r in this run chooses Obélix for his longer attack reach and heavily manipulates the enemy AI in an effort to beat the game and keep Astérix's village protected once again in record time.
