Speed Racer in The Challenge of Racer X is a racing game that was developed by Accolade for DOS computers. It was based on the anime Speed Racer, also known in Japan as Mach GoGoGo, and features many characters from it. In addition to regular racing cars, Speed Racer's own Mach 5 has many gadgets and gimmicks inspired by episodes from the anime such as guns, jump springs, submarine features, and more, allowing him to have an edge over the competition whether it's fair or not.
