Columns III: Revenge of Columns is a puzzle game released by Sega in 1993, as a sequel to Columns II: The Voyage Through Time. In this game, the player must stack three or more matching jewels that fall from the top of the screen vertically, horizontally or diagonally. They will earn points based on the matching jewels, with more points earned for longer combos. The player can spend 10 points to reduce the opponent's play area by one row, and can also place a debuff on the opponent by clearing a shining jewel in a combo match.
