This run must be done when I had found some glitches in several months ago,But it seems not perfect to force the character into the walls in the past. I had found how to enter the corner more efficient before Tas the run,so I did this run and played as Rockman.

I bought "Lice Search", "Exit", "Shock Guard" in the first time.
The second times I bought "Counter Attack", Energy Saver", "Shock Guard",I didn't buy "H.speed charge" because of bolts wasn't enough.

Glitches

Ice wall is the most important weapon than others, there's no doubt. I only point out some unobvious tricks.
In general, when you jumped directly and used ice on the left-side block,it was impossible to touch the top ladder and grabbed.
But now we still can do it since I had found the block has a bad cllsion code.
  • The first closed to left wall.
  • The second dashed to right side.
  • The third you will find Rockman had risen a bit.
  • The fourth used ice after jumped.
Used ice to reach the next platform.
Avoided damage by rush.
Avoiding damage by someone it's something like in RM7(Rockman taken damage then Rush was safe in Iceman level).
After watched the WIP,I thought you might know the weapon of L.bolt could control up/down/left/right.
The place where had acicula and CD,in my originally project I planned usage Shock Guard at it,but I found usage L.bolt twice could pass-through the acicula without wasting Shock Guard and I could keep zip going on.
By the way,I had found a glitch to mess up the graph and shoot from erroneous position.

You need press button like follow
1→+B
2→+B+Y (burner"s weapon)
3→+B
4→+B
5→+B
6→+B
7→+B
8→+B
9→+B
10→+B
11→+B
12→+B
13→
14→+R (Tengu"s weapon)
15→
16→+R+Y (Astro"s weapon)
Note:The glitch doesn"t work when you had gotten M.card.

Thanks

I copied and improved vsmk3's intro stage.
FractalFusion discovered how to pass-through the gate.
Enjoy it

NesVideoAgent: Hi! I am a robot. I took a few screenshots of this movie and placed them here. Oh! I also corrected the ROM name.
  • You indicated Rockman & Forte (J) [!]
  • I updated it to Rockman & Forte (J) [!].smc

DeHackEd: Oh yeah! AVI coming.

Admitably, while I don't mind taking damage to save time, the damage during King's tank and Cold Man refight were kinda stupid, IMO. Not enough to change my YES vote, but it was still dumb.
I believe the damage during these parts were to build weapon energy, since there's a shop item that will do this. P.S. Yes vote from me.
Must have missed it then. If there's a reason, that's fine. Wish there was a slightly more "professional" way to go about it though, but meh. ^^;;

No, it's because of Counter Attack (against bosses, 2 more damage per hit when at 7 HP or less).

Boring game, extremely well done run. Congratulations. And hey... there's a PIRATE MAN!

Truly the best. I'm not a big fan of the Megaman/Rockman/whatever you prefer series, but I can say that I really enjoyed this run. Yes vote.

Any run where Megaman moonwalks inside the floor gets a yes vote from me. Or it would, if I could vote.

All I can say is: wow. The insanity on display here is impeccable. This is everything a Megaman run should be. Oh, and I voted yes.

One of the best runs I've seen. Amazing work. I'd give it an obvious Yes.
You're just fucking stupid, everyone hates you, sorry to tell you the truth. no one likes you, you're someone pretentious and TASes only to be on speed game, but don't have any hope, you won't get there.

I love how unexpected it was when you actually used a ladder for climbing. The run is an excellent demonstration of using thinge in ways they're not designed to be used.

I just flipped when i saw this run. Everything about it is awesome. Its one of those runs that are just full of "GODDAMN!'s. The way you used every weapons like the duplicate.. It was amazing. My favorite level would have to be the scroller since you really took advantage of the time, it gives, to entertain us. I thought the dog was cool in a way. It gives time to playaround, entertain the viewer (wich you did in a amazing way), relax our eyes and realize wtf where at :P Congratulation & yes vote here! They should put a star vote on the pole because this surely deserves a star.

While flying through the walls, lightning shoots everywhere and Rockman strikes a dramatic pose. It made it... all the more awesome.
I think i've watched about 70% of the TAS's on this site... It's become one of the first sites I check daily for updates. I'm going to start posting more.

Which wmulator was used? I tried snes9x 1.43+v9, but it didn't work. By the way, it would be interesting to include on the table of data (Console, Game Name, ROM Filename etc) the version of the emulator used, since some authors forget to tell it by the description.

That's what's needed. Make sure you have the good dump of the ROM and that you're not running a lot of other applications.

Console, game name, game version and the ROM filename are included in the current submission form. Emulator version is the only one that isn't, but if it's anything other than the latest version, it's usually said in the text.

Just adding another yes vote to the big fat pile. Tons of varied glitches make the run very entertaining.

The published 100 CD run didn't interest me too much but this rocked my face off. Wow.

I think the audio might be a tad ahead of the video in this one....wasn't enough to totally throw me off though. Or am I imagining things?
