Post whichever DOS games you'd like to be TASed here. Games I'd like to see: -Supaplex -Jazz Jackrabbit (if it can be emulated correctly)
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

Add Chip's Challenge The original game. The controls are crap compared to the M$ remake.

Jazz Jackrabbit would be incredible since at full running speed it's nearly impossible to avoid getting hit unless you know exactly where every enemy is. You can also make use of damage, since it forces Jazz to fall to the opposite side of where he was facing. Thus, instead of breaking force fields you could just run up to them and then turn around at the exact frame before you hit it and he'll fly right through. I can't even begin to make a list of the things I'd like to see on DOS. This is absolutely my favorite era of games.

A 100% of Keen 4 would interest me (it's probably the best known of the series). If luck manipulation proves to be favorable, I'd absolutely love to see both X-COM games run.

Death Rally would be interesting since I've found that the spikes upgrade can be abused under certain circumstances. A TASer might just be able to take down the Deliverators by hitting them *just* right and thus win even the hard difficulty matches with the worst car. The difficulty would be in doing so without dying and without getting lapped (since that causes you to get zero points and money, even if you do kill everybody else). You could probably record brilliant playarounds in Worms.

Some of my favorite DOS games of all times Thexder <-- very good candidate for TAS since it is neatly difficult. 100% is recommended. Avoid the Noid <-- I might actually try this if I can get the emulator to run. Skyroads <-- need I say more? And it's freeware! Go download it! I predict frame wars! Test Drive II <-- <3 But on top of all: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis <-- masterpiece And of course the obvious Doom, Prince of Persia, Tetris, all the classics. Also, a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:DOS_games Moderators, do you want to include it in the first post? It might help people remember old game names they forgot. Open the flood gates! This day is heaven on earth!

As soon as I get my deadlines out of the way in a few weeks I'll try making a run of Dangerous Dave. It's not a very hard or long game so it should make for a good tryout.

I've moved a lot of older threads over from the Other Games forum which might serve as a few additional ideas.

Wikipedia's list of commercial video games released as freeware might be useful. It has a number of DOS games.

Warcraft 2 would be interesting. Is it true that you can place the mouse at any location on every frame? You might even be able to find some way of micro'ing your troops so that they hardly take damage.

Star Control Ⅲ. No idea whether it could be interesting, but given a chance, I would most likely watch it.
