If we skip that scene, we cant get the sword! And then it wouldnt be considered a 100% now would it?
Was just lookingon the main page and not the main comments, so as a result, I was unaware that it collected all 7 swords for the reason it did. Mind you, the fact the submission wasn't labelled as a 100% run was kind of the other reason I was a bit thrown off. Thanks for the quick reply. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I admit, I wasn't really aiming for 100% as much as I was "completion"; basically, they were there, so why not?

Done with Stage 3 Total Saved: 336 frames. If anyone wants to see the progress, look at my SVN since I dont want to crowd the forum with posts. I also want to keep the final movie a suprise. ;)

Im having a little bit of a problem in Stage 4. I cant seem to find out what triggers the next segment of the stage. Ive tried delaying hits on the mechs and adjusting my position but none of the results seem to be consistent. It would be nice if I had help.

Let's see here... From what I remember, the amount of time between mechs depends on how quickly you destroy them; they can be dealt with by knocking them off screen. The time between the last mech and the next section I recall operated on a rather large frame rule. I used that to spend a little time messing around with the last one. Not sure if you have different observations, though.
