https://github.com/bunnei/citra/ http://gbatemp.net/threads/new-3ds-emulator.365154/ So, there's been work on a 3DS emulator, known as Citra. Seems like it is early days for now, but I'm impressed the work has started. Would be helpful for us to get on board and help build this thing up to scratch

I can't help with the programming (at least not right now), but I can test new revisions if they need someone to do that.

From the FAQ ( https://github.com/bunnei/citra/wiki/FAQ ), they don't need testers yet (for lack of things to test, mainly!).

Ah, okay. Thanks, Patashu! I'll check that page every so often so I'll know when they need testers.

Just recently, the Citra emulator team was able to emulate a commercial 3DS game, the game was Ocarina of Time 3D. Here's some footage: Link to video Even though there's still a BUNCH to do, this is a HUUUUUGE step forward in 3DS emulation, and maybe we can finnally play or even TAS stuff in the far far future.

Yoshi's New Island can run at a stable 70 FPS on my computer (which is faster than normal) so its sort of hard to control Super Mario 3D Land runs at a constant 40FPS New Super Mario Bros 2 25FPS Mario Kart 7 20FPS Luigi's Mansion 2 1-2FPS.........And you also have to use an unofficial version to open it Okay, so here are a couple of testing videos I recorded. Computer: Lenovo Ideapad Y700 Laptop Processor: Intel Core i7-6700HQ @2.60-3.30GHz Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 RAM: 8GB Super Mario 3D Land https://youtu.be/1K5e8b_2LJ0 Mario Kart 7 https://youtu.be/FzEUZY8vGiQ Yoshi's Island--Constant 60FPS+ Link to video MOD EDIT: please try not to double post, or triple post, or anything above that either. <3 samsara

Old information is old. Redream x Libretro OpenLara x Libretro Dolphin x Libretro Stay on topic to Citra emulation thank you very much.

Hmm, I wonder if the 3ds has internal replay for all their games. If so, then the 3ds is easily tasable without desync issues. On the other hand, not sure if internal replays ever desync as I don’t fully understand how they work.
