I lost many minigames on purpose to manipulate the RNG (for example, to get toad to get the 5 coin staruz)
The zip file includes only the DSM. The avi were broken into 10 parts so I couldn't use them. I will upload the avi's to my youtube soon.
A little info on this TAS:
I TAS a 30 turn round to try and get 50 stars possible. I managed to do it! I even got a bonus star, thus I got 51.

Noxxa: Judging.
Noxxa: Hello GRDM, and welcome to TASVideos. Unfortunately, your run is not up to standards for publication on our site, for the following reasons:
  • Optimization is lacking. You go through the initial menus slowly, and during most minigames you just autofire A with seemingly no regard for optimization. You also set your name in-game, replacing the firmware default name, instead of setting up the firmware file to begin with.
  • The goal choice is arbitrary. You set up a party game with an arbitrary amount of turns, instead of running a mode more suitable for running such as Story Mode. Getting 50 stars is itself an arbitrary goal, which generally does not make for a good category choice.
  • Because the run uses Party Mode, it is incredibly boring to watch, as there is a lot of time between each minigame. Viewer feedback was exceedingly poor because of this.
As other users have commented in the thread, please read through the Guidelines - in particular, please read up about selecting your goals well, and about how to optimize your run better.
Better luck next time!

Will give feedback once I watch the DSM. Edit: Frame 57 you press Start for no reason. Autofires A to start the game it seems. Waits a long amount of time to confirm that the data was created, losing time. Also waits a long amount of time to select 'Battle Royale'. I don't need to watch much more, it's obvious that you didn't really try optimizing it, as you keep autofiring A the whole time. I would assume this is your first time submitting, so I sort of understand why this is so unoptimal. Not to mention, the game choice doesn't really lend itself to a TAS very well. If this is supposed to be a playaround, it's not interesting enough for a Moon. If it's supposed to be a speedrun, why did you choose 30 turns? Please read through http://tasvideos.org/NewcomerCorner.html and http://tasvideos.org/Guidelines.html before submitting again. Giving this a No, of course.
effort on the first draft means less effort on any draft thereafter - some loser

This is very painful to watch, both for optimisation reasons and goal choice. The optimisation reasons have been brought up earlier, using autofire everywhere, missing the buttons on touchscreen, etc. You do not even change the firmware name and instead edit it manually via the game. The real reason why I say this is painful to watch, hovewer, is the goal choice. Watching a little bit, it is obivious the focus on this TAS was to optimise the minigames, paying no attention to the board play. And the minigames themselves are very well optimised: hovewer, if you were going to focus on minigames, why go into Party Mode and launch the viewers into a 30-round-snoozefest of long, grueling, unskippable animations, all for the thrill of seeing a 30 second minigame? Why not use the conveniently placed 'Minigame Mode', which would allow you to fulfill your primary goal, which would be entertain via completing minigames fast? The painful thing is that this would be a quality TAS if the goal was changed to just using Minigame Mode instead of a tedious to watch Party Mode. The minigames themselves aren't the most entertaining thing in the world, but they're something, and a run that finishes all of them would certainely be interesting and not conflict with your goal. Instead, this messy arbritrary goal was chosen in an obivious intent to show off some cool minigames. Voting no.

Light Spike: User movie #28440259759482708 I am not going to figure out when this input actually ends. This entire input makes me question the RR count, it reminds me of the Crash Bash TAS which had little to no effort. Refraining from voting.
