In order to avoid making the same mistakes,i will gather the information here and slowly build the run towards what i believe is optimized. to input flash's moves: 4 frames for hadouken/tornado 7 frames for double hadoken motion=the Shoryuken-like running attack 5 frames for halfcircle teleport by skipping the first diagonal motion of the circle i didn't count the mash punch special time to input but i'm buffering inside other moves jump by pressing up in 1 frame,can't be canceled cause there are no moves that use the upmotion, NK criticism towards the old run: Hi grassini ! Don't wait appear yellow text "task force", press button for it appear faster - Text "perfect" will take 91 frames. if you can take damage less than 91 frames then you can faster. In my example file, stage 1 - round 1, I have faster you 53 frames by take damage (just compare round 1 frames only) - If you want make luck manipulation, I found cores of lucky for you: * 4 frames before you can move when start round, press buttons can change luck (mean freeze time) * Movements or not move are difference with make actions by punchs or kicks. Work also while fighting p/s: I don't know this game, just learn from your run. My example isn't fully optimized. THE GENESIS VERSION IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT,MADE WITH ANOTHER DEVELOPER'S HELP From gamefaqs: A QUICK NOTE-- Double Fireball motions (D, DT, T, D, DT, T, Punch/Kick) are NOT super moves. I do not belive this game even has super moves. It seems that the double fireball motion is used to replace the old Dragon Punch motion (F, D, DF, Punch/Kick) because The Dragon Punch method seemed to have no effect on the game. Well, I hope I found all the moves. It seems every character has 4 moves, but I only found 3 for Despero and Cheetah. Well, I hope this makes the game abit more fun and/or easier. Good luck. Thanks,Samsara! new notes: doing a move in the air will make you land later,the punch has 3 frames of advantage when landing,but loses 17 frames to a normal jump(which we won't use,since the j.HP is the combo starter), the game freezes the attacker after a hit,this seems to be some kind of lag,inputs are not read,not even start button will work during the hitfreeze. i have completed a first round against superman and my timer is also at 86 at the end,but i didn't block his laser,so i will reattempt until i block a laser at the round like NK demo and upload the current wip: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/31356251320611575

my other movie wasn't syncing from the first battle,that got me really scared but i had to redo it anyway so no biggie. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/31378443062359868 i managed to beat nk strat in the first round with a few optimizations,but i'm still redoing this one,the second match gave me an insight to retry the combos using c.HP instead of s.HK,also a new finisher with the mash punch which is faster than the running attack is it allowed to doublepost for progress or not? Thanks to Invariel with troubleshoot EDIT: changing the normal from c.HP instead of s.HK gave me no advantage at all,only optimized 2nd round and then went to wonder woman fight,stuck at 2nd round,i simply can't manipulate her into a decent pattern that will allow for a combo after the blocked move. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/31402173462573220

it has begun,opponents are instablocking my special moves from the first frame of stun animation,so i do weird things to make sure the mashing punch hits them,i'm constantly trying the other special moves but no breach has been found in this behavior has been found,nor crossing up the opponents made any difference(normal and shoryuken isn't faster the hit freeze and time it takes to finish the receival of damage and the shoryuken itself don't collaborate) http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/31418712211370083 goes up to super1 EDIT: up to batman2 complete,really wished somebody else would take a look and comment on it. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/31442636078829420 notes in the wip: 11645-death by teleportweak and missedpunch mashpunch,i couldn't whiff any other punch or he would have blocked,i would like to know more about this rng,but apparently it is connected to doing a special move in the start of the stun animation what causes the enemy to block. blockin a laser has so much blockstun i prefered to get HardPunched in the faced at the start of the round,i even walked forward a few frames to manipulate the laser but still it's too much. 13176-first frame after "fight" 13267-perfect limit my hard kick barely hit batman,getting hit from that shitty but elusive special kick from batman was the best compared to normals that would put me out of combo range,a projectile,special moves who don't put batman in combo range and take time to execute(downward kick and batgrapple),i also couldn't neutral jump or i would have my back against him at the end of the special move 13695-walk back jump whiff punch mashpunch KO,had to optimize a lot because jumpin at different times gave different ko frames,jumpin just a little later than asap was the best,it could vary from 10 to 20 frames more! 14590-first frame 14681-perfect limit(taking damage and recovering from it until this frame saves time) 15112-whiffed jump punch mashpunch KO,got 1 to 8 frames higher with other jump timings,whiffin normals on the floor and other actions didn't stop batman from blocking NEW EDIT: the video from the last wip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcvCoyT4fxg&feature=youtu.be

i have completed the tas,almost 21 seconds ahead EDIT:and it's useless because it's european!this community is "TERRIBLE"! last hit frame count:31723! gonna have to redo this in usa version someday when i'm no longer burned out and pissed.

i'm stuck with bad RNG with 2nd round of the batman fight,i can't get the enemy to do a good move and then give combo opportunity,all the moves blocked are too slow or end up makin batman do another slow special move

How's about you look at starting it from scratch as your starting input isn't optimal and go from there. 19 frames faster to get into the first fight.

I'm going to drop what I stated, as I checked, the input has been changed. Keep it up, you should be fine, on this attempt. I'll check what I did wrong, 'cause I did use your completed first stage of Batman to compare. So it became confusing on the recheck, when the initial check was wrong.

i did that,but i have a hunch: his movie ends at 2859,he claims it's faster by 19 frames,but both mine and his first round start at 2880...i also noticed he presses Start at the end of his video but start doesn't make any difference there,maybe his movie desyncs for me but not for him? i'm really trying to occam razor here,because that's enough.I'm using the same emulator i used for the last submission. lsnes rr-1"triangle"18"smallgreekEletter"3 EDIT:i've been uploading these wips for a long time since way before the rejected TAS,hope you watch the new ones for comparisons.
