I oringially posted this in this thread. However, it turns out more people were unaware of the Branches feature than I initially thought (as in mostly veteran players didn't use them). So I figured I'd make a new topic in here so more people will see it. I created a simple tutorial of Branches in TAStudio, as I believe it's one of the most useful tools included in the program. However not a lot of people make use of it or understand how they work. So hopefully this video helps out. Link to video If anyone still has any questions, I'll try to answer them in this thread.

The Update button/functionality wasn't mentioned, but I'll still add this vid to the tastudio post.

Made a 3rd Take. Added a text area around 2:30 to mention the Update Branch button. Think this should be good now. Link to video

Bizhawk Subtitles [made private due to being old version] Edit: Replaced above link with one that explained about needing to have brief comments to fit the 1x scale. Edit: Need to replace the above vid again since it is possible to delete a row by pressing the Delete button on the keyboard on selection of a row.

Can you use \n in hawk subtitles as a linebreak?

That does not seem to work on system unfortunately. https://puu.sh/GqClA/a00f0f7c8d.png Ok here is the latest take with the subtitles. includes the delete, and also explains that the subtitle window accessed through the menu from the game view window is for View only, and the one accessed in TasStudio via Metadata -> Subititles is the one where you can Edit. If you double-click on marker frame in the inputroll, it should spawn the text edit popup too. IIRC binding markers to input also affects wither they're saved to branches. I missed your question in the chat, it's better to talk here I guess.

Going to show some examples of top tier lua scripts as a demonstration to show what is possible. I am sure there are many other great scripts and I do plan on making a second video that will do a lot more than this. If you notice any issues or have any feedback please post a comment. If you want a script to be shown in a later video also leave a comment. Made private due to the updated video posted below.
