Uh just to extend an explanation, the site now has a predecessor movie: [5258] GBA American Idol by ShesChardcore in 11:05.59 Two if you include Magic Star: [5949] DS Imagine: Movie Star "savegame, maximum score" by JHolleworth in 36:07.57 Mainly that it uses a verification to unlock hardest difficulty, but doesn't butcher any song like American Idol.

I found #4779: xy2_'s DS New Zelda in 02:41.05, rejected due to stricter rules around homebrew.
