Ok, we'll actually use a functional Virtual Console this time.
Donkey Kong NES, but we're playing on one the most inaccurate versions of NES.

standing in the open field.

I don't know what else to write here.
I'm just seeing the extent to where the rules lay, and well this was the next step from absolutely borked, absolutely functional.
The only reason this came out second was I was having issues with DolphinHawk and Dolphin, and it wasn't because of what's written in the Special Thanks.

Special Thanks

  • !nconsistent - For the absolute assistance into getting this to sync on Dolphin, the first frame of input was somehow invalid, and was switched with a working one to make it sync.
  • CasualPokePlayer - DolphinHawk.

Tegron: Claiming for judging.

Tegron: Set to "New" and add as a co-author since I helped optimize the file, which is now in place.

I notice that adjusting for framerate differences, the second stage seems to be slightly slower than the NES publication for this game, as well as Donkey Kong-e, but is tied with the Classic NES Series movie. I couldn't find any details as to why in your previous submission notes - what's the cause of the variation?

I honestly don't understand the discrepancy either. Another title I was messing with had from what I could tell a 2/3 frame disadvantage when copying/porting the input 1:1 in two levels. It might entirely be how the Wii handles the emulation layer. I honestly couldn't tell. Here's the BizHawk version of the input: User movie #639208311326680844
Update: Turns out I'm an idiot. There'll be a userfile update shortly.

Now featuring Tegron~! Dolphin file to replace: User movie #639213588355225888 BizHawk version of the input: User movie #639213580863867895 Encode will be switched soonish.
Edit: I definitely fudged something up when I attempted converting the formats across. The DTM should be a 1:12.033 not the same time as the file provided. Edit 2: Fixeded.
