How about a tool-assisted competition? Take a game and set a goal (other than finishing the game) and set a time period for submissions. The one who gets the goal done in less frames wins. My first idea was: Get 99 lives in SMB3. The last frame of the movie must be exactly when mario gets the 99th life. For extra excitement, during the submission period there could be a public list of accepted submitters with their framecount (but not the video itself in order to not to spoil anything). The time period? I don't know. It should not be too short. I would say at least one month, if not more. The price? Well, it would be all for the glory and babes, I suppose. And the winner video would probably be fun to watch. There could also be an aftermath where people could submit their improvements to the winner video if they can. Any takers?

Doable in 1-2 beginning with leaf power, crucial component for speed is luck manipulation. Not very impressive, repetitive rather fast, and laboursome to do. (I've done it in real time on real console (well, at least until ~70 lifes before stopping voluntarily), so it's not a super impressive tool-assistead feat either.)

Then something else perhaps?

I like this concept! This should be cool.
Then something else perhaps?
Maybe Tactics Ogre? The challenge could be to raise the hero's level to X in as little time as possible (where X is decided upon later.) Or River City Ransom? Maybe a race to get... I dunno... excalibur, or some other massively expensive item. On the Hard difficulty.

In FF3/6, kill [insert boss] (Atma Weapon?) by making him run out of MP.

When I fought the Magic Master in FF3/6, I beated it by exhausting it of MP. Back then, I figured it's the only way to beat it (reinforced by the observation that the magic tower is a tricky place, involving various applications of the mirror/wall spell/item). So I used rasp... quite many times. And I came victorious.

Beating Gogo in FF5 as fast as possible without doing nothing (!) would be awesome to see! But I guess once can't be too low leveled when facing him. His meteors are evil.

I think it would be insteresting to see the fastest time possible to end a round in super street fighter 2 if player 2 is willing to cooperate :)

Is this possible? In which version? I know only the old first releases and there it is not possible I think. You can choose in the beginning only one from 3 and will never get the others for your list. You get too Evoli only 1 time and he can change into 3 different Pokémon. So when I not wrong 8 Pokémon are impossible to get without trading by the old versions (red, blue, green). And I think there were too some Pokémon which exist only in one version from the game.

Yeah, it's impossible, but Bag is always joking.

It's not possible because there aren't wild Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle anywhere. And some Pokemon only evolve when they are traded.

Thanks for the tip. Looks nice and I would like to see this run that you catch all 151 Pokémon. :-)
